We held our Prep Redzone Illinois Prospect Tour on May 7th out at Westmont Yard where we had high-level competition along with college coaches getting in-person evals. It was a great time being able to have these young men compete and get to chat with a few afterward. With that being said, let's dive into QB Risers from our Prospect Tour Showcase.

Mr. Allaway walked away with our QB MVP after his performance in both the combine drills as well as during Indy time and 1-on-1s. This young man clocked a 4.57 hand-timed 40-yard dash, ran a 4.38s 5 10 5 shuttle, broad jumped 9'1", and completed the L drill in 7.32 seconds. To say he's a dual-threat quarterback is an understatement, just turn on the film and you'll see for yourself. His ability to add zip on the ball and drive off his back foot are one to keep an eye on as he heads into his senior season campaign. Throughout the showcase, Mr. Allaway was able to put the ball where his receivers can go up to get the ball and can put a touch on the ball as well.

Mr. Deligio is a young man that faired well during indy drills providing insight into his pocket footwork as well as his ability to slide well before resetting in the pocket. His ability to add easy velocity across all level throws (level 1, 2, & 3) is going to be one to keep an eye on heading into this fall season. He might be a smaller QB, but his ability to work both on the move and in platform keeping his eyes downfield are going to be one to keep an eye on.

Mr. Prell, in my eyes, is set up to make his stock rise during his senior season campaign as he looks to take over for <strong>Standout QB [player_tooltip player_id="119189" first="Danny" last="Chung"]. </strong>This young man is able to add zip on the ball by driving off his back foot and by flipping his hips. What I'm interested to see out of this young man this upcoming fall season is how he's going to fair working on the move out of platform with pursuit on his backside. Name to keep an eye on.

Mr. Mennecke is a young man that I've been a fan of for some time now and one that continues to showcase his skill set. His pocket footwork to slide and reset quickly is second to none, all while keeping the ball high and his eyes up to survey the field. During 1-on-1s, this young man was able to put the ball in positions where his receivers can go up for those 50/50 balls and was able to lead his receivers well on deep shots downfield as well. If Mr. Mennecke isn't on your radar, he should be.

Mr. Evans is a young man that I was very interested to see what his 40 time was heading into this showcase as I had a chance to watch him in person a few seasons ago and wow he was blowing by defenders. He clocked a 4.65 hand-timed 40-yard dash, ran a 4.44 5 10 5 shuttle, and broad jumped 9'4" - all of which showcase his athleticism. This young man showcased his ability to slide well during indy drills and has the arm strength to make those throws outside the numbers as well without lofting the ball. Another legit dual-threat QB that was in attendance and one that opposing defenses have to gameplan for.

<em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="300508" first="Madyn" last="Burke"] 23' 6'1 Dunlap <a href="https://twitter.com/MadynB">Twitter</a></strong></em>

Mr. Burke impressed me with the glimpses he showcased in indy drills and during 1 on 1s. He has the ability to add touch on the ball as well as add zip by driving off his back foot. What caught my eye the most was his arm strength to hit those outside the number throws where he zips it to his receiver. I'm very interested to see how this young man is going to produce during his Senior Season Campaign.

<em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="162593" first="Dominic" last="West"] 25' 6'0 Downers Grove South <a href="https://twitter.com/dominic_10_16">Twitter</a></strong></em>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-336905" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2022/05/050722-PrepRedZone-Prospect-Tour-Headshots-140.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
Mr. West is a very young QB that caught my eye during our showcase with his arm strength and ability to make level 3 throws putting the ball only where his receiver can get it. He does have room to hone his craft further in this regard but he has a good starting point heading into his Sophomore Season Campaign. I'm interested to see how accurate he can be this upcoming season.

<em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="131488" first="Jack" last="Elliott"] 25' 6'0 Mount Carmel <a href="https://twitter.com/JackElliott09">Twitter</a></strong></em>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-336906" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2022/05/050722-PrepRedZone-Prospect-Tour-Headshots-054.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
Mr. Elliott turned heads with how young he is as he already possesses the skill set and build of older quarterbacks playing on Varsity. What was eye-opening about this young man's skill set came to light during indy drills. Here, he showcased his ability to transition well when he's sliding one way and then plants his foot turning opposite on a rollout. When he was doing so, he continued to hold the ball high and keep his eyes downfield. This young man's footwork and ability to slide are one to keep an eye on as well. Mix that in with his arm strength and you have a high potential young man.
