PRZ Prospect Tour Showcase: GameChanging Speedsters
In this article:
Joseph
Libutti
6'0" | 195 lbs | DB
Mission Viejo | 2023
CA
, Mission Viejo: Libutti had a fantastic day in the measurable drills and was the fastest player at the event. The class of 2023 defensive back ran a 4.43 40-yard dash which was the fastest time of the day and a 4.19 shuttle which was also the fastest. I’ve seen Libutti play in person and I knew he had good instincts and was a solid corner, but I had no idea he was this good of an athlete. Libutti may be set for a great senior year in a very good Mission Viejo secondary.
Matt Goodin, San Marin: Goodin had an excellent day at the event as well running a 4.47 which was just a hair behind Libutti. Goodin had a strong showing at the National Preps Showcase as well and has been having a very productive offseason. He played on a state champion San Marin team last season and should be getting some lower level offers soon.Welcome Class of 2023 Joseph Libutti (@JoeyLibutti) of Mission Viejo HS to the @PrepRedzoneCA Showcase on 5-8 @ Estuary Park.

Dayton Tafoya, Central (Fresno): Tafoya ran a 4.5 which made him the fasted quarterback from California at the event. He also ran a 4.5 shuttle and a 6.65 L drill which were among the fastest times for a quarterback as well. He is a hair under 6 feet, but still has wheels and is a good dual threat QB. He went to the Fresno State spring game and will certainly have a big year for Central. https://twitter.com/TafoyaDayton/status/1520807273450196992?s=20&t=Z7-R1xL2Hk2ZZTQ0im0clA Phillip Jones IIThank you @PGregorian for the invite! Jones II
5'11" | 170 lbs | QB
Mesquite | 2024
State
AZ
, Mesquite, AZ: Jones represented Arizona well and was named one of the top three quarterback performers of the event. He ran a 4.5 in the 40 which tied him with the fastest quarterback of the day and ran a 4.6 shuttle. Jones is only 15 years old and with him running the 100 meters on the Mesquite track team, you can count of these numbers being better this time next year.
Darius DoyleGreat 1st time at Prep Redzone in Oakland against some of Cali 23,24 and 25 best..Finished as 1 of 3 top QB’s /4.5 40 yard dash. I will be back. I can do better @donovanjmcnabb @QBManuch @AZPreps365 @PrepRedzoneCA @PrepRedzoneAZ pic.x.com/VYjSy4o85O

Doyle
5'9" | 160 lbs | WR
Kimball | 2024
State
CA
, Kimball: Doyle showed off his agility with the second fastest shuttle time of anyone at the event. He ran a 4.22 which is impressive for a 2024 player. He is a good two-way player at Kimball and runs the 100 meters for their track team as well. He needs to pack on some muscle as he weighed in at only 139 pounds, but he knows that and has been putting in the work this offseason.
Garrison Toney, Bullard: Toney ran a 4.25 shuttle which was the fastest among the class of 2025 players at the event. Charles Brown Jr., Pittsburg: Brown was a walk up entree into the event and had one of the best shuttle times of the day. He had a 4.28 shuttle and a 6.4 L drill was one of the better times of the day. He was named one of the running back MVPs of the day and made a spectacular one-handed catch during the 1on1 period.Taking all fades in 2022! #Reps pic.x.com/YJ8JnnYAof
