[player_tooltip player_id="299447" first="Gabe" last="Rosen"], Evanston Township (IL), 2023
Standing above the crowd and in the way of them all, [player_tooltip player_id="299447" first="Gabe" last="Rosen"] is an excellent wall between a defender and his quarterback, someone Evanston Township is lucky to have on their side. Gabe won the Offensive Lineman MVP award at the Prospect Tour showcase because he proved to be an immovable roadblock for defensive linemen the way he set into his pass-block and attacked the chest plate of his opponents. Gabe displayed spectacular hands the way he was able to get inside on the defensive linemen and not allow any extension. Although Gabe stands around 6’7" and weighs approximately 340 lbs, he has precision foot movement as if he is someone a fraction of his size, a remarkable trait for a lineman who is bound to make a quarterback comfy at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="300722" first="Tyler" last="Reed"], Byron (IL), 2023
This young man is what you want out of your offensive linemen, a solid stout athlete who is all about protecting his quarterback. Tyler plays with a level of aggressiveness that shoots fear into his opponent’s nerves, as it should be. Tyler is someone who finishes his blocks and is also quick and efficient to the second level. Tyler showed spectacular agility for his 6’3" frame when running through the L-drill. He is an overall versatile player who shows great promise wherever you put him, as he was open to running drills on both sides of the ball, where he excelled on each side. Tyler will undoubtedly make a tremendous impact for Byron this season in their quest to state.

Alex Poholik, Lincoln-Way West (IL), 2024
A significant shuffle step, a tackle that has the speed to pull, and someone who doesn’t quit on a play are three attributes Alex displays in his execution of the game. Alex was a standout at the Prospect Tour for his ability to give no space to the defensive linemen he was competing against in the one-on-one drills. Alex had a great drop back into his position and set up nicely to engage in a block on his opponent. Alex is at a great place with his skills and is only a rising junior who will continue to grow over the next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id="137911" first="Jack" last="Donovan"], St.Francis (IL), 2024
[player_tooltip player_id="137911" first="Jack" last="Donovan"] is a finisher, simply put. This young man does not shutter on a play until he has a defensive lineman on their back. Jack showed great speed off the ball and the ability to keep his hands inside when controlling his opponent. Jack made it look easy because he was capable of staying low off the ball and driving the man across from him off of their feet. On top of his remarkable run-blocking skill set, Jack is also a solid pass blocker who can drop back and keep opposing players away from his quarterback. Look for St.Francis to have wide-open holes when running the ball, so long as Jack is on their line.
