Henry Ryan Henry Ryan 6'1" | 165 lbs | RB Mount Vernon | 2023 IA (2023) | 6’1″ 170lbs | RB/LB/DB | Mount Vernon
Henry is a talented athlete who does a great job of recognizing plays. At safety, Henry can run the alley and make tackles on the perimeter or in the hole. He does a great job of running his feet and finishing tackles. He also showcased great ball skills as a defensive back. By reading the quarterback, Henry did a great job of jumping routes and breaking up passes or getting interceptions.
Henry is also crafty with the ball in his hands. He has great open-field moves that allow him to burn defenders. He does not shy away from the physicality, and he does a great job of pass blocking and trucking defenders. Arm tackles do not take down Henry, as he has an excellent spin move that makes defenders slide off. His vision as a ball carrier also impressed me, as he was able to play off his blockers and hit the hole in crowded lines of scrimmage.

Kylar Fritz (2023) | 6’0″ 190bs | WR/DB | Sioux Center
Kylar is a great tackler at the safety position. He has good speed and play recognition, which allow him to cover the entire field and make plays. There were multiple times on film where Kylar would come down from 10 yards and make a play on a screen or a running back. A couple plays from film that especially stood out were the speed outs by receivers. Kylar was able to showcase his play recognition and a quick burst of speed to cover it well multiple times. He was also utilized well on offense, as he made multiple defenders miss on WR screens and make leaping catches in traffic. Kylar is a solid athlete who I expect to have an impressive senior campaign.

Cade Morse Cade Morse 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR ADM | 2023 IA (2023) | 5’11″ 175lbs | WR/DB | ADM
Cade runs a 4.6 40-yard-dash and has some impressive lifting numbers. His strength and speed are showcased on his film. He was able to run past defenders on go-routes and make some really nice plays. He had an impressive double move that torched the defense, as he used his head and body to really sell the route. This same concept is used on his intermediate routes as well, as he was able to sell the go-route before decelerating well for a comeback route. He does a terrific job of finding holes in the defense and has great awareness.
You can really get a sense for the type of player that Cade is through the subtle things on film. He does a great job of blocking for his teammates, and he wants to see them succeed. While he is electric with the football, he is great without it as well. I also loved how involved Cade was on special teams. From running down on kickoff team to cover punts, Cade was willing to help his team in whatever way possible.

Nevan Foss Nevan Foss 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Clarion-Goldfield-Dows | 2023 IA (2023) | 6’0″ 175lbs | ATH | Clarion
Nevan did a little bit of everything for Clarion, playing wide receiver, safety, linebacker, and running back. This versatility will serve him well during his senior year and at college, as he can fill in where the team is struggling and make an immediate impact. Nevan has solid speed and strength for his size. He was able to run past defenders with the ball in his hands, and he was a fantastic playmaker. He had great open field moves, and he would expose poor tackling. He also knew when to get dirty, and he would lower his shoulder and fall forward for crucial yards. This also carried over to defense, as he had an impressive play where he lit up an offensive lineman before making a tackle. I would like to see Nevan continue to work on his ball security when making moves in the open field.

Trent Jacobs (2025) | 6’1″ 180lbs | RB/LB | Ankeny
Trent had an impressive freshman campaign, and I am really intrigued by what I saw. He has great size already, and he embraces the physical aspect of football. He does a great job of running his feet through contact and delivering a punishing blow to offensive players. He has great play recognition, and he will shoot through gaps to make a play. All he needs is an inch of daylight, and he is in the backfield making a difference.
Trent also showed great potential as a ball-carrier as well. He carries his physical nature over to the offensive side and punishes defenders who try to tackle high. Just like on defense, Trent runs his feet well on offense, and there was a play on film where he carried multiple defenders as he continued his run. He has good acceleration and a quick burst, and the next step will be to continue working on his top-end speed and open-field moves. Trent has a ton of potential and will have lots of colleges interested in him if he continues down this path.

Aiden Spangler (2023) | 5’11″ 190lbs | RB/LB | Gehlen Catholic
You know you are about to see something great when you’re watching a running back with a number in the 40s. #43 Aiden Spangler did not disappoint. Aiden has good speed, and he had multiple long touchdowns that showcased his speed. His speed was also showcased on kickoff return, where he was able to field squib kicks and accelerate through a small hole to score a touchdown. Aiden was also a powerful runner, as he had multiple times where he lowered his shoulder and trucked a defender to finish the run. He showcased good footwork and patience in the backfield, allowing the offensive line to create holes for him. I would like to see Aiden continue to work on his open-field moves, but his speed and power allow him to be a successful running back averaging over 7 yards per carry.

Blake Tubbs Blake Tubbs 5'10" | 175 lbs | RB Johnston | 2023 IA (2023) | 5’10″ 180lbs | RB/S | Johnston
Blake was only able to play three games his junior year because of an ACL injury, but he showcased his talent in those three games. The first thing I noticed about Blake was his great athleticism. He has great speed, and you can just tell by watching him what kind of athlete he is. Blake is a great mixture of finesse and power. He embraces the physical aspect of football and has the speed and agility that make him a great all around player. Blake was also very solid as a safety too. His play recognition paired with his speed and aggressiveness makes him a force to be reckoned with. He moves so well, and I am excited to see his breakout season next year when he can play more than three games.

Daniel Adams Daniel Adams 6'4" | 160 lbs | DB Muscatine | 2023 IA (2023) | WR/CB | Muscatine
Daniel is an impressive run blocker for a wide receiver. He was aggressive and constantly working to create openings for his teammates. Daniel looks lengthy on film, and he found ways to attach to defensive backs and hold blocks. He also has strong hands, and he was able to go up and snag an impressive interception over a receiver. The interception return paired with some of his punt coverages showcased the athlete that Daniel is and the speed he possesses.
