These prospects range from kids I would offer today, to prospects that have a quick-trigger as far as their steps, and prospects that learn so quickly from their coaches, that they will be very fun to watch throughout their incoming high school careers. Take a look at the top hogs from Barrington.
Rico Schrieber Rico Schrieber 6'7" | 330 lbs | OL Marist | 2026 State IL | St. Jerome Catholic (Chicago, IL) | 2026
Our OL Camp MVP future Marist HS offensive linemen Rico Schrieber Rico Schrieber 6'7" | 330 lbs | OL Marist | 2026 State IL showed a man amongst boys mentality on Saturday afternoon in Barrington. Rico came in at 6’7 315 pounds and didn’t just look the part, certainly like heck played like it too. His ability to show quick feet in all drills and a natural feel when he went thru his motions from start to finish. Rico’s awareness to draw off that defender coming in far away from his QB really showed a lot of worth and efficiency as he showed this consistency on his reps. He also showed off a substantial wingspan which allows him to pick up his punch early in his reps. This young man has some growth of course, mainly with his endurance with his lower body, but whenever you show me a 6’7 hog molly that can move and not just look the part, the Division I schools will come calling soon for a reason as long as he continues to develop. One of the few prospects from the Midwest camp I would offer right now.
Gene Riordan | Hinsdale Middle School (IL) | 2026
Gene showed solid efficiency with his quick jab foot and the speed he brought with it as far as his explosion went. Standing at 6’3, Gene really brought out that physicality level I expected to see him lock into in 1v1s as he used his sizeable punch on a couple occasions to drive the defensive linemen to the turf. Gene shows off some sizeable hands that can develop with his hand speed department, leverage, and not being afraid to bring out that physical mean streak that I love to watch out of young offensive linemen like Gene Riordan of Hinsdale.
QwaMaine Spivery Jr. | Learn 8 Middle School (Chicago, IL) 2026
QwaMaine was one of my favorite kids to watch on Saturday afternoon amongst all groups. Why? This young man came out and wanted to get better as after he got coached up, he went to work independently and continuously worked on his steps, contact, etc. throughout Indy Drills. When we rolled into 1v1s, you can tell there is a mean streak QwaMaine possesses that needs to be shown out more as this young man develops into the high school ranks. QwaMaine can also grow on his technique, as he showed blossoms of improvement from what I watched in Indy into 1v1s which shows signs of a young OL prospect that takes coaching very well, and is a quick-learner as far as my eyes could see on Saturday. 6’0 310 pounds and hopefully some more growth coming his way!
Vincent Lazarre | Waverly Middle School (Lansing, MI) 2027
Vincent showed from what I could see the best jump coming off the snap from what we watched in Indy drills on Saturday in Barrington. He also showed solid leverage for his age being able to get enough contact to use his quick hands to shove onto the second level. When we rolled into 1v1s, Vincent showed development working against a small but tough nosed bunch of defensive linemen and had reps where he showed some instinctive footwork on where to go, but also shows plenty of development to trust that instinctive in the near future along with developing quicker hands against the more speed-driven defensive linemen.
