<strong>ORLANDO BOONE</strong><strong> 2022</strong>
<strong>Head Coach:</strong> Andy Johnson
<strong>2021 Record:</strong> 8-4
<strong>THE BRAVES</strong>
While they made the state playoffs and won a game this past season, the season turned out to be inconsistent, and to advance in the state of Florida and get out of the central Florida area, there has to be more.
For every win against Orlando Timber Creek (41-21), Orlando Freedom (59-21), Orlando East River (42-7), Orlando Lake Nona (29-23), Kissimmee Tohopekaliga (49-0), Orlando Cypress Creek (56-0), Orlando Oak Ridge (50-14) and Wellington (42-7) in the opening round of the playoff, there were those setbacks that kept the Braves from being that elite program.
Stinging defeats to Winter Park, Orlando Edgewater, Winter Garden West Orange and Port St. Lucie Treasure Coast stood in the way of this team joining Apopka and Sanford Seminole as teams who have raised the bar among the large schools.
To get to that level, this team will need to step up and get this rising senior class to lead the way – along with talented underclassmen.
As they are now in spring and looking forward to the summer, here are the prospects that figure to make an impact:
