Breakout Performers
[player_tooltip player_id="279163" first="Irason" last="Kekaualua"] LB 24’ LB Westview- Maybe the breakout player of the camp. Side to side the 5-11 LB might have been the best at the event, not losing a rep. Expect him to be one of the top juniors in the Metro.
Kainoa Hayes DL 25’ Central Catholic- Hayes could play a pivotal role for the defending state champ’s next season. He has a high ceiling and good size, with the potential to blow up if he fully develops.
DJ Duran QB 23’ Chiawana (WA)- A lot of credit to this kid as Duran made the trip from the Tri Cities and looked great all day. Expect the 6-4 QB to step in and do well for the traditional WA power.
[player_tooltip player_id="147268" first="Ben" last="Yundt"] RB 23’ Mountain View- Yundt projects as one of Oregon’s breakout players next season. Head coach Brian Crum has produced some of the state’s top backs and hasn’t been shy about giving them 30+ carries a night.
Vincent Cabezudo Slot 23’ Liberty- This kid has the potential of being one of the best players in the Pacific Conference and had a 1st team all camp type day. Definitely one of the most impressive players on the field.
[player_tooltip player_id="205813" first="Jaydon" last="McBreen"] CB 23’ Westview- Mcbreen broke out last season taking two picks back for TDs early in the year. He was somewhat overshadowed with all of the talent on the roster. That said as he substantially upped his stock over the weekend.
Pierce Walker ATH 24’ McNary- Walker played varsity ball as a sophomore and showed why he could be one of the top players in the Valley this season. His body control and ability to accelerate was impressive.
Trevor Bivens LB 24’ Sheldon- One of the most impressive underclassmen at the event. Bivens has good size and should be a key contributor for a Top 10 6A Irish program.
[player_tooltip player_id="343699" first="Brian" last="Smith"] WR 24’ Tigard- Expect to see this kid get a nice bump in the rankings when they are updated and released. His 6-4 frame and versatility helped him standout.
[player_tooltip player_id="278398" first="Kasen" last="Covert"] QB 24’ Sherwood- All eyes will be on Covert from his QB spot as the Bowmen will come in as a conference title favorite and top 10 6A team. He is undersized but smooth and brings the necessary confidence to the position.
Enrike Aguilar LB/DE 25’ McNary- Aquilar has great size for a freshman and impressed with his fluidity. He will be one of the top up and coming players in the Central Valley Conference
Ronald Woods III WR 24’ Roosevelt- Was super impressed with this kid all day. Look for Woods to get in the mix and be one of the best in the PIL, playing for one of the state’s top up and coming head coaches in Ryan McCants.
Taylor Ioane QB 23’ Camas (WA)- Ioane will be leaned upon heavily as the Papermakers are a tradition rich program. Even in the wet conditions he had a nice day throwing the ball.
[player_tooltip player_id="343494" first="Dawson" last="Rios"] QB 24’ Salem Academy- The underclassmen comes from a talented family with former 3* LB Dyami Rios now at Princeton. Look for Dawson to be one of the top small school players in the state.
Noah Blair QB 25’ Thurston- Blair is a three-sport kid who will compete for the starting job as a sophomore. He looks the part even at a young age and had a great day against the top players in attendance.
[player_tooltip player_id="301615" first="Demetrius" last="Cartwright"] WR 24’ North Eugene- Cartwright definitely had a breakout day running crisp routes. He should be a consistent option for the Highlanders this year, after getting in the mix as a Sophomore.
[player_tooltip player_id="287053" first="Trey" last="Kennedy-Coleman"] DL 25’ North Medford- The Black Tornado have one of the better returning lines in the state and Kennedy-Coleman has the potential of being a factor as a Sophomore. He did well against older competition.
Colby Stampflee LB 24’ Glencoe- This kid came out of no where and had a phenomenal day. Coach Caleb Wells raved about his play as he should step in and do a good job for the Crimson Tide this coming season.
