The Prep Redzone Missouri Class of 2024 football prospect rankings have been updated and there are several prospects who have moved up and down in the rankings. Today we have another look at some of the prospects who moved up.

Here is a quick look at some of the biggest stock risers in the newly updated rankings:
DL [player_tooltip player_id="215752" first="Joseph" last="Anderson"], Westminster
In our last rankings update, the 6-foot-5, 205-pound Anderson was ranked as the eighth-best linebacker prospect and the No. 56 overall prospect in Missouri in the Class of 2024. This time, he's been moved to defensive line – we could see him as an edge rusher or a tight end at the next level once his body fills out – and he's now the 12th defensive lineman and No. 57 overall prospect.
Anderson, the son of former NFL lineman Bennie Anderson and younger brother of two Division I offensive linemen, may have dropped one spot in the overall rankings, but his stock is on the rise after a strong sophomore track season that saw him fare well as a long jumper, triple jumper, hurdler and sprinter.
At the Class 3, District 3 meet last weekend, Anderson won the 110 hurdles (15.42 seconds) and triple jump (46 feet, 8.75 inches), finished second in the long jump (21-6) and third in the 300 hurdles (42.98). According to Mo.MileSplit.com, he's also run the 100 (his top time is 11.67 seconds) and the 200 (23.91) this spring. It's worth noting he's doing this as a 6-5, 205-pound sophomore.

WR [player_tooltip player_id="130195" first="Waylon" last="DeGrave"], Monroe City
A 6-2, 185-pounder, DeGrave was the No. 12 athlete and No. 88 overall prospect in Missouri in the Class of 2024 in the previous rankings update. With this rankings update, we've moved DeGrave from athlete to wide receiver and, after an impressive showing at the Elite Football Combine in St. Louis in March, he's now the sixth-best wide receiver and No. 46 overall prospect in Missouri in the sophomore class.
DeGrave, who reportedly ran the 40 in the 4.5 second range at the Elite Combine, is coming off a big sophomore season where he caught 34 passes for 1,023 yards, averaging 30.1 yards per reception, and scored 11 touchdowns.
Like Anderson, DeGrave has also had a successful spring in track and field as a long jumper and triple jumper.

QB [player_tooltip player_id="126261" first="Grant" last="Gibson"], Rockwood Summit
Gibson, a 6-2, 210-pounder, was ranked as the No. 3 quarterback and No. 53 overall prospect in Missouri in the Class of 2024 in the last rankings update and actually moved down with this update – to the fifth-best quarterback and No. 66 overall prospect after [player_tooltip player_id="218445" first="Ethan" last="Hansen"] and [player_tooltip player_id="335510" first="Sam" last="Kaiser"] jumped over him.
But Gibson, who already physically looks like a college quarterback, is a stock riser because he has moved and transferred from run-heavy Fox to pass-happy Rockwood Summit, which graduated Lindenwood University signee [player_tooltip player_id="172272" first="Mason" last="Brown"]. Gibson threw 85 passes for 669 yards and six touchdowns (against three interceptions) as a sophomore at Fox, while Brown threw 164 passes for 1,309 yards and 17 touchdowns (against four interceptions) for Summit.
Gibson's change of scenery should help him show what he's capable of as a passer. His stock is on the rise.

QB [player_tooltip player_id="218445" first="Ethan" last="Hansen"], Rockhurst
A 6-1, 175-pounder, Hansen was the No. 6 quarterback and No. 65 overall prospect in our previous rankings update, but moves up to the No. 2 quarterback and No. 28 overall prospect in the sophomore class in Missouri with this rankings update.
Hansen didn't have great numbers during his sophomore season last fall — he completed 53 percent of his passes for 890 yards, with three touchdowns and eight interceptions — but had his best performance against the Hawklets' best opponent. Hansen looked good against CBC, which would go on to win a state championship and has three or four Division I prospects in its secondary.
In late January, Hansen picked up a scholarship offer from Missouri State, and in the process became the first quarterback in Missouri in the sophomore class to receive a Division I offer.

QB [player_tooltip player_id="185373" first="Elijah" last="Leonard"], Lee's Summit North
Another quarterback who made a move, Leonard has reportedly transferred from Liberty North to Lee's Summit North, and has gone from backing up a Division I quarterback to possibly replacing one.
Leonard has good size (6-4, 215), skills and athleticism but didn't play much on varsity as a sophomore during Liberty North's run to the state championship game — he completed 67 percent of his passes for 211 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception and ran for 123 yards and five scores — as the backup to top 2023 Missouri quarterback prospect [player_tooltip player_id="172248" first="Sam" last="Van Dyne"].
After transferring to Lee's Summit North, Leonard could replace graduated Southern Illinois signee [player_tooltip player_id="171825" first="Tre" last="Baker"] at quarterback, if he doesn't have to sit out as a transfer. Baker had a big senior season as he led Lee's Summit North to the state semifinals, where the talented Broncos lost to eventual state champ CBC (which beat Leonard's Liberty North squad in the title game).
NOTE: Since this rankings update, it looks like Leonard has transferred again. While his Twitter account bio lists him at Lee's Summit North, he is now listed on HUDL as going to Bishop Miege High School in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
