Beginning of a new series, Mapping Pennsylvania. Starting with District Four. [player_tooltip player_id="164521" first="Mark" last="Pastore"] | 6’1, 175 | QB | Selinsgrove | 2024 Selinsgrove QB who is comfortable dropping back from under center or in shotgun. Said drop back looks seasoned. Favorite part of Pastore’s game is his ability to anticipate throws. Anticipation, timing and rhythm passing might be Pastore’s strong suit. His tape is littered with throws under duress, which is a huge plus out of a sophomore quarterback. Eyes stay downfield despite pressure which is another huge plus. Anticipates at all three levels, not just slants or easier short routes. Seen throwing corners and seams before WR’s have broken off route, in stride as well. Pastore is more than capable of avoiding the pass rush, even capable of picking up first downs with his legs if need be. A confident Pastore is the best version of himself. I expect a big spike in his production. https://twitter.com/MarkPastore_21/status/1454834504439373826?s=20&t=aEsj9T-wdz8sdPmWNl3M9Q Tyler Gee | 5’11, 180 | QB | Loyalsock | 2024 Here is a real hidden gem. This young man would be a national prospect if he was 6’2 and played in a more recruited area. Gee’s downfield accuracy and downfield vision are as good as any quarterback’s in the state of Pennsylvania. I was wowed by how many throws from the pocket, out of the pocket, or on the run that Gee was able to launch for big gains or touchdowns 30-40 yards downfield. Gee is currently unranked, that’ll change by the next update. Gee is a true dual-threat quarterback in every sense of the term. He can certainly beat you with his awesome arm strength and downfield touch, yet he can also beat you with his legs from anywhere on the field. Has runs of 40+ for touchdowns, yet his prowess on the ground comes in handy when in the redzone. Love his pocket presence. He’s got a few reps at safety, but where this young man hopes to leave his mark will be under center. Some play action sets, as well as some RPO sets are ran for Gee. His tape left me very impressed. Hopefully we can get him on some programs’ radars. Tough to gameplan against. https://twitter.com/tyler_gee01/status/1462562164414287876?s=20&t=aEsj9T-wdz8sdPmWNl3M9Q [player_tooltip player_id="305013" first="Xavier" last="Diaz"] | 5’9, 150 | ATH | Mt. Carmel | 2024 [player_tooltip player_id="305013" first="Xavier" last="Diaz"] has some game-breaking speed and acceleration to his name. The Mt. Carmel homerun-hitter is often active pre-snap behind the LOS. MCA may not utilize Diaz as a true number one wideout, yet they sure as hell make sure Diaz touches the ball in space, which is a clear no-brainer. Track-star, who’s speed has different gears. My favorite trait of Diaz’s is his ability to pace himself, wait for blocks to develop, then hit a hole, all while maintaining his speed. He does this time and time again when MCA calls sweeps outside the tackles. Diaz almost glides while setting up his blockers. I think this kid is due for a breakout season. Diaz is also a capable DB and KR. https://twitter.com/Xavier_D10/status/1480061180530110466?s=20&t=aEsj9T-wdz8sdPmWNl3M9Q [player_tooltip player_id="248792" first="Xzavier" last="Minium"] | 5’11, 170 | ATH/DB | Milton Area | 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="248792" first="Xzavier" last="Minium"]’s tape was a fun one to watch. Most of all these tapes are fun, yet Minium’s was electric. It’s a good way to describe his game too. Awesome athleticism out of the Milton area quarterback. Elusive player who looks natural in open space. Great eye discipline and cutting ability make Minium a tough one-on-one tackle. One of the better play-makers the district has to offer. Minium doesn’t produce this way just because he’s an athlete at the QB position, he’s dynamic enough to produce from anywhere on offense so long as he gets the ball in space. He’s got some quality reps at safety too, including one pick-six where he shows off his open-field vision. He can deliver hits from his safety spot too, great awareness out of this young man. https://twitter.com/XzavierM4/status/1509315326302994437?s=20&t=aEsj9T-wdz8sdPmWNl3M9Q Dyson Delaney | 6’4, 285 | OL/DL | Jersey Shore | 2024 Here’s a raw prospect out of Jersey Shore. Limited reps, many reps on a talented JV squad. There’s no doubting this young man’s size and power. He’s worked as a pulling-guard who looks to gather some momentum before barreling into defenders. Delaney also provides defensive line reps, some of which stick out more than others. Delaney looks to have the god-given traits to be a great OT, just needs to refine his game a tad, which all young prospects need. He seeks out his assignment on the move, he can get a hat on a hat, while also finishing blocks on some occasions. Consistency will be key in his development. He matches up with power really well, so long as he can develop quicker feet, he should be able to counter speed so long as he can get in front of his matchup. When Delaney is fully on, he can provide some seriously quality reps at both DL and OL. Intriguing player. https://twitter.com/bulldog74_2024/status/1504500600733683715?s=20&t=aEsj9T-wdz8sdPmWNl3M9Q [player_tooltip player_id="27740" first="Matt" last="Kelley"] | 6’4, 325 | OL/DL | Mount Carmel | 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="27740" first="Matt" last="Kelley"], a highly-decorated mammoth of a trench player, has an unmatched motor. That motor is running on both sides of the ball too. Kelley is an absolute mauler who is just too massive to move at will. If Kelley is able to get his feet moving and a drive going when run-blocking, good luck. Kelley’s skillset is utilized well by MCA, as he works in a run-heavy scheme. If I had a OG/OT that can run block to this young man’s capabilities, I’d be a run-first team too. Good feet that somehow are able to move this beast into correct positioning to steer defenders away from the hole. Really awesome to watch him work. He provides a ton of value for a defense as well, as he can virtually clog any running lanes in the A or B gap when at nose guard. Has future college guard written all over him. Someone of this size and power should not be allowed in the open-field. Kelley is especially vital in redzone situations, where he is often blocking someone into the endzone before the ball carrier has even scored. Great tape! He’s got an interception on tape too. https://twitter.com/MattKelleyMCA75/status/1493412896793108482?s=20&t=aEsj9T-wdz8sdPmWNl3M9Q
