With more than 30 colleges in attendance, and over 600 athletes competing, it was a huge success. Thank you to coach Jim Catanzaro for allowing these athletes the opportunity to show their skills and thank you to all the other schools in attendance. There were a lot of great players on the field, and some even earned their very first collegiate offer from coach Catanzaro.
This sure was a lot of fun today. A lot of people for better in the #SouthwestSuburbs pic.twitter.com/9b5Ee6EoPo

Jake Hoel │Wide Receiver│6’2″ 170 lbs│Arizona College Preparatory
Jake Hoel has great speed and great size at 6’2″. High points the ball very well and gets off the line of scrimmage very well with quick movements. He does not get caught up at the line playing hand games with corners which allows him to get into his route quicker. He has great burst ability, showing that skill in his double moves with stop and go’s. Jake is entering his senior year, and he will be poised to show off for more college along the way. Jake picking up his first offer is well deserved and will be on coaches radar this fall.
After a great conversation with @LFC_FOOTBALL I'm excited that I have received my 1st offer to play at the next level! #Foresters @justchilly @codytcameron @gridironarizona @acpfootball17 pic.twitter.com/OFKSV4jGCl

Marco Palafox│Center│6’1″ 270 lbs│Arizona College Preparatory
Arizona College Prep were well represented at the Mega Camp with both Jake Hoel and Marco Palafox showing out and receiving offers from Lake Forest College. Marco at 6’1″ 270 lbs has great size for his position. He gets off to the second line of the defense very quickly and absolutely demolishes the backers he blocks. He rubs off well as well on the first line, helping his guards to get into position and opening hole for the running backs. Great pass pro as well, holding onto blocks until the whistle blows, even if the play is thirty yards away from him. Great motor, and I am excited to see where his play takes him after this year.

Draysen Hatch│Kicker│5’10″ 190 lbs│American Leadership Academy Queen Creek
Draysen showed out at camp on Saturday, being one of the top special teamers in the entire group, and his season last year backs up his performance. Playing for ALA Queen Creek, they went 9-2 and made it as the eight seed in the AIA Open Playoffs in the state of Arizona, which is impressive. Draysen during the year went 94% from PATs, hit 75% of his field goal attempts, and had 18 touchbacks. He was Mr. Automatic for his team which came in handy when they played in close games. Draysen showed his big leg at Pinnacle High in front of the college coaches, hitting a 55 yard field goal to highlight his day. You might think a kicker is easily replaceable, but you are wrong. Having a consistent kicker is an absolute need if you want to go far, and without one you are leaving points on the table. Daysen Hatch is that guy you need, and Lake Forest College was smart enough to see that.
After a great camp and an even better conversation with @LFC_FOOTBALL , I’m excited to say I have received my 1st offer to continue my football career at the next level!!! @kdc8886 @alaqcfootball @AZKicking @TyDetmer14 pic.twitter.com/qk7LjOT9Ar

Matthew Orthmann Matthew Orthmann 6'4" | 260 lbs | DL Corona Del Sol | 2023 State AZ │Defensive Line│6’4″ 250 lbs│Corona Del Sol
Matthew Orthmann Matthew Orthmann 6'4" | 260 lbs | DL Corona Del Sol | 2023 State AZ is the ideal defensive end. He has the size, he has the speed, and he definitely has the talent. Showcased it on Saturday at camp, and you watch him in game and he plays fast and hard there too. Corona Del Sol played more of a 3-3 defense, which allowed Matthew to play on the outside, shading the inside of the tackle usually, and that is where he is perfect to play. He stops the run very well, and gets to the quarterback really well and shows multiple moves to get there. He has a quick swim that he uses to his advantage, but let that fool you because he will bull rush you and put you in the quarterback’s lap if he needs to. He plays down the line and does not run too far up the field, and uses his arm length to get the linemen off of him to make the play.
After an absolutely amazing camp, I am excited to announce I have received my 1st offer to play at the next level at LFC. Thank you @LFC_FOOTBALL for allowing me such an amazing opportunity! @CoachBarro @DommHenderson @chadack @JUSTCHILLY @gridironarizona pic.twitter.com/tSTQfDIi3T

Congratulations to these outstanding athletes on receiving offers to play at the next level and to continue their education. Lake Forest would be lucky to have you and they saw the talent right away at camp. These athletes represent themselves well both on and off the field and carry themselves with great pride. They will be playing at the next level and deservingly so, and the offers are just starting to come in.
