DB Owen McBride, Mountain View
McBride is a young, athletic and impressive 2024 kid that started every game for one of the top teams in the state. The 2025 class overall around Idaho is very impressive on the defensive side of the ball and includes some very skilled defensive backs and pass rushers. McBride has a natural feel for the game, strong ball skills and plays extremely tough with a high motor, especially for his age. Coming off a very solid sophomore campaign for Mountain View he is poised for another huge Junior season and should gather college interest through out the year.
LB Max Gwilliam Max Gwilliam 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Meridian HS | 2023 State ID , Meridian HS
The ’23 prospect is part of a very strong linebacker corps for Meridian heading into 2022. He has terrific length for the outside or inside linebacker position, displays pass rush ability with a natural bend off the edge and is extremely physical while exploding through contact in the open field. In space, he displays quick closing speed and takes good angles to ball carriers while flashing very nice natural instincts when sniffing out screens and draws while showing he can trigger quickly and loves contact. Recently picking up an offer from College of Idaho, it will not be long before other FBS and FCS schools show interest or offer as he has a nice length for the next level and is a very intriguing prospect.
QB Luke Flowers, Rigby HS
Flowers is a very strong armed kid that can push the ball down field and throw into tight windows over the top. He shows active feet in the pocket with very strong pocket awareness and is not afraid to step up and take a hit to deliver a ball downfield. Out of his hand, he displays a quick release and shows good ball placement vertically while able to throw his receivers open and into tight windows away from defensive backs. He is very smart for his age and surveys the field well while moving safeties with his eyes and is not afraid to take what the defense gives him. He is no doubt one of the top 2024 signal callers in the state and will be a household name over the next two years of his high school career.
DL Beau Jaques Beau Jaques 6'3" | 235 lbs | DL Owyhee HS | 2023 State ID , Owyhee HS
Jaques is one of the best defensive lineman across the state and is extremely active with his hands and Physical at the line of scrimmage. He is stout against the run with a strong punch and drops his pad level consistently while anchoring against double teams and shedding blocks quickly while maintaining his gap. He is athletic while pass rushing and can effectively use power rush moves while collapsing the pocket quickly. He has a very strong frame and plays with a high motor and can no doubt make a big impact at the college level.
DL Kaesen Smith, Skyline HS
Smith started as a freshman at defensive end for Skyline and was extremely disruptive coming off the edge and in pass rush situations. He is twitchy, explosive and shows a quick use of hands at the point of attack while also flashing strong closing speed and open field tackling ability. He is a high motor kid that consistently pursues backside and shows good change of direction and lateral quickness within the pocket. As he continues to anchor against the run and get stronger, he will be a very explosive and disruptive defensive end.
