There is great value in these camps; the information and firsthand experience the players and coaches receive will stick with them through the fall. There is a ton of spring football content here at Prep Redzone Arkansas. All of the drills, and all of the preparation is for the fall. When the 2022 season starts these players will be more than ready for the challenges that are waiting for them. In this article we will take a look at four offensive players looking to make an impact on their teams this season.
Barrett Cunningham #18
Quarterback
Brookland High School
Don’t let Barrett Cunningham’s smaller stature bother you, it sure doesn’t bother him. Cunningham weighs in at 5’10″ 170lbs, has a 4.8 40-yard dash, and a cannon for an arm. Barrett has great vision in the pocket, and solid awareness of knowing when to use his legs. When he escapes the pocket, he does it with intent. Cunningham seems to be a natural at the position, making great throws on the run or standing upright in the pocket. It will be exciting to watch him take his game, and the Brookland Bearcats to the next level in 2022.
Akyell Madison #18
Quarterback
Watson Chapel High School
Akyell Madison is a very quick, very determined player. At 6’2″ 152lbs, Madison is ready to show out in 2022. His spring ball highlights look like he and his teammates are putting in the work. Akyell is deceptively dangerous: running a 4.45 40-yard dash, defenses are going to have to take that into account. Not to mention he has solid pocket awareness, and a very strong arm. If Madison can put together all of those tools that he has, and keep it consistent, Watson Chapel will be a very exciting team to watch.
Seth Foster #28
Running Back
Pea Ridge High School
Seth Foster is a wrecking ball on the field. So far, Seth has been very dominant in spring ball. He only runs downhill and has the ability to make anyone miss. Foster sits at 5’7″ 160lbs and has a 4.7 40-yard dash. He has one heck of a first step, and just ignites himself when in the open. Not to mention, Foster is a very dangerous weapon in the passing game: whether on the screen, or in the slot. Seth has worked himself into a weapon that the Pea Ridge offense is very happy to have, and I cannot wait to see that team in action in 2022.
Parker Brown Parker Brown 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Heber Springs | 2024 State AR #78
Guard
Green County Technical High School
Parker Brown Parker Brown 5'11" | 175 lbs | RB Heber Springs | 2024 State AR is massive and so much fun to watch, especially if you like good offensive line play. Which I happen to be a sucker for. Standing at 6’3″ 288lbs, Parker has a quote on his Hudl profile that states “I love me some pancakes.” And boy does he ever. Brown is a mauler through and through, leaving his opponents in the dirt 9/10 times. He has the raw power, he keeps his legs moving, and he stays with every play. Oh, and did I mention that he runs a 5.4 40-yard dash? Brown is an offensive lineman that any team would love to have, and Green County Tech is very happy they do.
