There is great value in these camps; the information and firsthand experience the players and coaches receive will stick with them through the fall. All of the drills, and all of the preparation is for the fall. When the 2022 season starts these players will be more than ready for the challenges that are waiting for them. In this article we will take a look at four offensive players looking to make an impact on their teams this season.
Keland Mills #6
Quarterback
West Memphis High School
The first thing that I noticed when watching Keland’s tape is that he is a very quick decision maker. At 6’0″ 185lbs, Mills has great awareness of what is happening around him and has an arm that can get him out of trouble when the pocket is collapsing. In turn, Keland can also beat you with his feet. He is a wildcard on the field for defenses and has a knack for keeping a “dead” play alive. Mills’ scrambling alone is a headache for opposing teams, add in his arm talent and all teams can do is try and contain him. Keland looks to help lead West Memphis to victory in 2022.
Dashton Stevenson #7
Wide Receiver
Searcy High School
Dashton Stevenson is a man amongst boys on the football field. With solid speed, a great vertical, and standing at 6’3″ 185lbs he can put himself in any position to make the catch. His size alone makes him a perfect redzone target. Dashton is also a great blocker in the run game. He just has a habit of making plays and putting himself in great positions. Having a wide receiver that can use his body to make a catch or use his speed to make a catch makes that receiver very valuable to their team. Dashton Stevenson is poised to make a big impact for Searcy High School football.
Mykai Foster #15
Running Back/Wide Receiver
Russellville High School
Mykai has that real, tried and true, unteachable speed. Not only is Mykai Foster fast, but he hits the hole his OL gives him with straight fury. Foster is a 5’9″ 151lb wrecking ball who has great hands, great footwork, and solid blocking ability. When Mykai runs, he puts his field vision on full display for everyone (especially opposing teams) to see. Foster is a very entertaining runner/player to watch, but a very big headache for his opponents. Mykai is ready to make defenses miss in 2022, as well as make an impact for Searcy High School.
Cooper Kindt #89
Tight End
Lake Hamilton High School
Cooper Kindt is big, real big. Not only is Cooper Kindt big, but he is deceptively fast. Having the luxury of a tight end that is a vertical threat is one that not all have. Cooper is determined to get the most out of every play and keeps his feet moving until he is brought down. Which bringing down a player that is 6’4″ 240lbs is easier said than done. Kindt is a great redzone target and seems to do a lot of damage there. But like I said earlier, Cooper is deceptively fast. Kindt has that perfect game speed that you hear people talk about. Cooper looks to help lead Lake Hamilton to success in the 2022 season.
