The first event in the RDU Region was a big sucess with lots of talented players. I am now doing reviews on the top players in their positional groups. The next group up for review are the Wide Receivers.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="335470" first="Ty" last="Broughton"], 6’3" 180, (No. 203 Overall/No. 23 WR), Millbrook HS</strong>. Ty ran good pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches. He displayed good hands on the catches made in traffic. Ty does a good job of using his body to shield defenders on catches. He was impressive in his performances throughout the event, which earned him MVP for the wide receivers group. Ty is expected to be a key player in a high-scoring offensive unit in the Fall.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="336735" first="Adrian" last="Silver"], 6’0" 160, (NC 2025 Prospect), Rolesville HS</strong>. He displayed good quickness while running pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches. Adrian displayed good hands on the catches in the open field and catches made in traffic. He had a steady performance while competing in the various drills throughout the event. He is expected to make an impact on the offensive unit during the upcoming season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="336734" first="Jamon" last="Allensworth"], 5’6" 140, (No. 204 Overall/No. 24 WR), Knightdale HS</strong>. He displayed good pass route running and separation from defenders to make catches. Jamon is a fast receiver who uses his speed to his advantage once the catch is made. He is difficult to catch once he accelerates past defenders in the open field. He performed well while participating in the various drills. Jamon is expected to be one of the primary targets for [player_tooltip player_id="271552" first="Johnathan" last="Montague Jr"]. during the upcoming season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="336741" first="Marcus" last="Sosebee"], 6’0" 170, (No. 104Overall/No. 15 WR), Garner HS</strong>. He ran good pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches on film. Marcus does not go down after initial contact has been made, gaining additional yardage. He displayed good hands on the catches made during the one-on-one drills. Marcus is expected to be one of the key players on the offensive unit during the upcoming season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="336743" first="Mason" last="Powell"], 6’2" 225, (No. 16 Overall/No. 4 TE), Northwood HS</strong>. He ran good pass routes and separation from defenders to make catches. Mason did a good job of shielding defenders with his body to make catches in traffic on film. He moved with quickness and displayed good agility while participating in the various drills during the event. Mason is expected to be one of the key players on a potent offensive unit during the upcoming season.
