Breaking down the film of rising 2024 LBs in PrepRedzone’s latest Washington 2024 Player Rankings. [player_tooltip player_id="158406" first="Julius" last="Leapai"] has potential to be one of the most productive LBs in Washington in the fall and [player_tooltip player_id="115348" first="Adrian" last="Shields"] has shown a high-level OLB skillset early in his high school career. [player_tooltip player_id="158406" first="Julius" last="Leapai"]- LB, Newport Leapai was a highly productive ILB for Newport last season totaling 70 tackles and 12 TFLs. He’s an effective interior blitzer that likes to get downhill and make plays behind the LOS. He shows instincts and IQ diagnosing plays and a quick trigger reacting to the ball. He’s physical shedding blocks and does a good job sifting through blockers and locating ball-carriers. Leapai should continue to be a disruptive force on the front seven next season.

Finished Sophomore blessed to be named 2nd team all kingco!
