Most Dominant – Jaden Pierce Jaden Pierce 6'2" | 290 lbs | DL Shelby | 2024 State NC , 6’2″ 310, (No. 8 Overall/No. 1 DL), Shelby HS. Jaden is quick out of his stance to make contact with blockers. He displayed good use of hands and upper body strength to manhandle blockers and make the stop, often in the backfield. Jaden displayed good technique on tackles made in the open field. He finished the season with 66 total tackles and 13 tackles for losses. He is expected to be the most dominant player on the defensive unit during the upcoming season. Jaden’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will increase the recruiting for him.
Top Pass-Rusher – Braxton Lassiter Braxton Lassiter 6'5" | 260 lbs | DL Leesville Road | 2024 State NC , 6’4″ 265, (No. 35 Overall/No. 2 DL), Leesville Road HS. Braxton is quick out of his stance to make contact with blockers. He displayed good use of hands and upper body strength to move past blockers and make the stop. Braxton displayed good speed to cover a lot of ground to close in on the ball carrier for the stop. He finished the season with 45 total tackles, 22 were solo tackles, 13 tackles for losses. He is expected to be the dominant player on the defensive unit during the upcoming season. Braxton’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will increase the recruiting for him.
Run-Stopper – Michael Mullins (MJ), 6’2″ 275, (No. 37 Overall/No. 3 DL), East Forsyth HS. Michael is quick out of his stance to make contact with blockers. He displayed good use of hands and upper body strength to move past blockers for the stop, often in the backfield. Michael uses his quickness and good technique to shut down running plays. He finished the season with 45 total tackles, 12 were solo tackles. Michael is expected to be the most dominant player on the defensive line during the upcoming season. Michael’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will increase the recruiting for him.
Divon Dabney, 6’5″ 280, (No. 61 Overall/No. 4 DL), South Granville HS. Divon displayed good footwork and use of hands to control blockers on the film that I had viewed. He displayed good agility and quickness as he moved past blockers into the backfield to make the stop, often for losses. He is expected to be the dominant player on the defensive line during the upcoming season. Divon’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for him.
Deric Dandy, 6’4″ 215, (No. 62 Overall/No. 5 DL), Mount Airy HS. Deric was quick out of his stance to make contact with blockers. He displayed good use of hands to control blockers while moving past them for the stop. He displayed good technique on tackles made in the open field. Deric displayed good speed and covered ground quickly to close in on the ball carrier for the stop. He is expected to be one of the leaders on the defensive line during the upcoming season. Deric’s participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for him.
