Today, will feature the top linebackers in the southern part of New Jersey.
These athletes are underrated and will have a very productive season in 2022.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Jr., Keyan German, Millville </strong></span>
Mr. German played a big role in Millville’s championship season. He dominated the defense with his athletic ability and elite speed. German has good lateral quickness and tackling ability. He does a good job tracking the ball carrier from sideline to sideline. Also, plays with good eyes and instincts and anticipates when the ball carrier will make a move. German has the strength to take on blocks as well. He finished the year with 3 sacks, 1 TFL and 3 solo tackles. He will play a big role this season if Millville has a chance to repeat. Make sure you keep your eyes on this kid.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Jr., [player_tooltip player_id="146683" first="Taylor" last="Siciliano"], Clayton</strong></span>
Mr. Siciliano is a good athlete with explosive hitting power and decent agility. He had an elite 2021 season in which he recorded 128 tackles, 5 FF, 2 FR, 17 TFL and 5 sacks. Siciliano has immense strength and does a good job defeating blockers. In the run game, he easily blows through lead blockers to get to the ball carrier. Siciliano has great knowledge for the game and understands gap control and leverage. He is always at the right place at the right time and pretty much always brings his man to the ground. Siciliano has worked really hard in the weight room and will add bulk to fill out his frame for this season. As we get closer to the season, make sure you watch out for Siciliano.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>Jr., Mason Brown, Williamstown </strong></span>
Mr. Brown had an impressive 2021 season. Brown dominated his junior season collecting 87 tackles, 23 TFL, and 5.5 sacks. He does a nice job locating ball the carrier to make a play. He excels at overpowering lineman to defeat blockers. Brown plays physical and has good explosiveness to finish tackles. It is rare to see him miss a tackle. In fact, Brown’s best game last season was against Ocean City when he had 11 TFL’s. He closes in on the ball carrier in a hurry and does not hesitate. Brown also has the ability to cover running backs in space and does a nice job reading his keys. He plays with good technique which what the next level is looking for. Brown is poised to have a big senior year. Make sure you stay tuned.

Mr. Poinsett had a productive junior year. Poinsett has good agility and quickness to get passed defenders. He has a thick build and adequate strength. Poinsett does a good job reading and reacting to the ball. Also, does an exceptional job in coverage. He finished the year with 4 sacks and 12 tackles. Poinsett has seen action since freshman year and will make his senior year one to remember.
