<strong>THE WILDCATS</strong>
After getting off to a 6-0 start in 2021 and grabbing the attention of many across the state of Florida, things started to move up and down for this program.
Tough losses to eventual 7A state runner up Tampa Bay Tech (21-12) and Seffner Armwood (20-13) was followed by a regular season-ending win against Tampa Sickles (35-7).
Then the playoffs arrived and wins at New Port Richey Mitchell (15-8) and Lehigh (36-0) set up a second meeting with Tampa Bay Tech. This time around, things were not close and the season ended with a 42-6 setback.
With the off-season to ponder the two losses to Tampa Bay Tech has driven this program in the off-season, and as spring begins, there is plenty of optimism that this could be a banner year.
