After an intense day of competition, several players put themselves on the map with their performance. At the QB spot, there were multiple prospects 2026 class and beyond that made some big-time throws all afternoon. Here, we take a look at which QBs caught my attention throughout the entire event.
Brodie McWhorter Brodie McWhorter 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Cass | 2026 State GA – 6’1 – 2026 – Cass (GA)
Without a doubt, McWhorter was the top QB performer of the day, and that isn’t a knock on the other QBs at the event. McWhorter was just that impressive. First off, he has that “QB look”. He is tall with a fluid throwing motion and was accurate to all levels of the field. He was most effective on the deep ball, where he threw his receivers open and placed the ball on the money almost every time. Earlier in the event, he showed nice footwork and technique. Once the competition part of the camp started, he didn’t fold under pressure and kept making plays. All in all, McWhorter rose to the occasion when pressure was on and impressed everyone at the event. If he can continue to show that consistency over the next few years, then he should develop into a pretty big prospect on the recruiting trail.

Beautiful deep ball and can throw his receivers open. Was on the money all afternoon. Top QB performer.

Caleb Jenkins – 5’11 – 2026 – Oxford (AL)
Jenkins was one of the prospects that came into camp with a little more hype than some others. Personally, I believe he validated some of that hype. He wasn’t able to connect on some deep balls, but he showed great technique throughout the entire camp and looked more than efficient in the short and intermediate passing game. On his last rep of the day, he threw a perfectly placed ball on an out route right underneath a defender for a beautiful completion. Jenkins remained focused and poised throughout the entire event, and that allowed him to bounce back from his mistakes and impress. Jenkins was one of the many impressive Alabama prospects at the showcase and is someone that you should pay plenty of attention to.

Joe Aicher – 5’8 – 2028 – Port Orange (FL)
Aicher was one of the youngest players at the event, but that didn’t stop him from traveling 7 hours from Florida to be one of the more impressive QBs. The QBs split up during the middle of the camp, so it was hard to keep my eyes on Aicher a lot, but when I did, I was very impressed. For a young player, he is very fundamentally sound and has a quick, compact release. He also has some nice spin on the ball and I saw him layer the ball over defenders a couple of times. Aicher still has a long way to go, but he clearly has tons of potential and already has some national attention to his name. His performance on Saturday will only continue to put him on the map.
JR Harris JR Harris 5'9" | 165 lbs | QB Central Carrollton | 2027 State GA – 5’8 – 2027 – Central (GA)
Like Aicher, Harris came into the event as a younger prospect that was trying to put himself on the map, and that is exactly what he did. Harris had one of the faster and quicker releases of anyone at the camp and did a great job of throwing receivers open in the short and intermediate passing game. The ball flies out of his hand very naturally and he places some nice spin on it as well. One thing Harris wasn’t able to showcase, nor were any of the QBs able to showcase, was their ability to make plays with their legs and throw on the run. Trust me, Harris has that ability. Harris was able to turn some heads despite not being able to showcase his full arsenal. For that reason, he was one of the top performers at the event.
