<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Prep Redzone Prospect Tour made its stop in Colorado this past Saturday, and it could not have been more of a success.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The majority of the players in attendance were Colorado athletes, but a few made the trip from different states.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The event kicked off with four combine testing stations; the broad jump, shuttle drill, L-drill, and 40-yard dash. This article will take a look at the top performers from each drill.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">The 40-yard dash is a fan favorite when it comes to combine testing. The fastest 40 time was 4.43 seconds, clocked by 2024 defensive back </span><b>Avant Wright</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> from Mesa Ridge. Northridge wide receiver </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="150171" first="Reece" last="Pratz"] </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">(2023) recorded the second-best time with 4.54 seconds, while University linebacker </span><b>Kian Baxley</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (2023) finished third with a 4.59 seconds time.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The fastest time for the defensive linemen was 4.78 seconds run by Littleton’s </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="209842" first="Ethan" last="Bird"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (2023 DE), while Cherry Creek’s </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="150151" first="Ben" last="Lastrella"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (2023 OL) clocked the fastest time for the offensive linemen group with 5.08 seconds.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">The shuttle drill measures lateral acceleration and explosiveness. The best shuttle time was 4.13 seconds which was clocked by Pratz (2023 WR). The second-best time was 4.29 seconds, which was a two-way tie between Holyoke’s </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="226028" first="Bryson" last="Dirks"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (2024 DB) and Dakota Ridge quarterback </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="143623" first="Blake" last="Palladino"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (2024).</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The fastest shuttle time for the DL group was 4.4 seconds, clocked by Bird (2023 DE), while Castle View’s </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="216202" first="Ryder" last="Smith"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (2024) topped the OL group with 4.71 seconds.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">The L-drill, or 3-cone drill, measures speed, agility, body control, and an athlete’s ability to change direction. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The best time for this drill was 6.87 seconds, which was also recorded by Pratz (2023 WR). Palladino (2024 QB) secured the number-two spot with 7.1 seconds, while Palmer Ridge’s </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="22762" first="Joshua" last="Gerlach II"] </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">(2023 ATH) clocked the third-best with 7.15 seconds.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Pueblo County’s </span><b>Alexander Gillispie</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (2024 DL) and Lutheran’s </span><b>Keaton Reiman </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">(2024 DL) tied for best in the DL group with eight seconds flat. Grandview’s </span><b>[player_tooltip player_id="243522" first="Wyatt" last="Walters"]</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (2023) clocked 8.16 seconds for the fastest time among the OL group.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">The broad jump measures an athlete’s burst and lower-body balance and strength. The farthest broad jump recorded was a two-way tie between Palladino (2024 QB) and Pratz (2023 WR), landing at nine feet and nine inches. </span><b>Matthew Dean </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">(2023 QB) from Highlands Ranch came in third with a distance of nine feet and six inches.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The farthest jump for the DL group was nine feet and two inches recorded by Bird (2023 DE), while Lastrella’s (2023) eight feet and seven inches was the best among the OL group.</span>
