We are less than 48 hours away from the Michigan Prospect Tour, and with the attendees’ list finalized, there are a few players I’m especially excited to watch. I’ll have some fun pointing out the players I’m most excited to see in this article. You’ll notice that these players are all quite good in this list, and I’ve only seen one play in person.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>QB: [player_tooltip player_id="77216" first="Isaiah" last="Marshall"] - Southfield A&T</strong></span>
A highly-touted prospect for many years, recently earning a 4-star evaluation from 247, [player_tooltip player_id="77216" first="Isaiah" last="Marshall"] is expected to perform wonderfully on Saturday. He’s a Quarterback who has a rare mix of athleticism and fundamental prowess, and it’s going to be very interesting to see him perform alongside other great QBs, many up-and-coming.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>RB: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/14703679/TyDrez-Clements">Ty’Drez Clemons</a> - Graham (VA)</strong></span>
Sorry Michigan Running Backs, I’m stoked to see Ty’Drez Clemons from Virginia. Clemons earned 2nd-team all-state honors on a state-championship team that housed a whopping 5 all-state selections. He looks blazing fast and smart, but If I had to be honest, I don’t know much else about Clemons, which makes it even more fun.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>OL: [player_tooltip player_id="249818" first="Evan" last="Curtiss"] - Fowler</strong></span>
A player from a lesser-known program with giant upside, [player_tooltip player_id="249818" first="Evan" last="Curtiss"] could turn a lot of heads this weekend. His highlight tape is phenomenal, with his opponent’s highlight tape exposing some of his weaknesses. Curtiss looks to have had quite a good offseason, so I’m excited to watch him face off against some of the best DL talents in the state.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>WR: [player_tooltip player_id="249497" first="CJ" last="Hibbler"] - Petoskey</strong></span>
I wouldn’t say I have any expectations for Hibbler, but I am greatly excited to see how he performs. I firmly believe that [player_tooltip player_id="249497" first="CJ" last="Hibbler"] is an underrated talent from Petoskey, and I really hope he proves me right. He’s got great game as a slot WR, and I’m excited to see him test and compete.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>ATH: [player_tooltip player_id="255368" first="Ma’Leik" last="Tramble"] - Grand Blanc</strong></span>
The only player I’ve watched in person and an athlete who’s had a superb offseason + amazing grades, [player_tooltip player_id="255368" first="Ma’Leik" last="Tramble"] is in a prime spot for a rankings boost. He'll likely get a deserved bump as long as he performs well on Saturday. He’s mainly a DB but can run around the field doing other things, hence the ATH classification here. This Fall, I’m excited to see what he can do on a Grand Blanc team that’s lost a lot of talent from graduation.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>DB: [player_tooltip player_id="190101" first="Zachary" last="Rogers"] - Groves</strong></span>
Rogers is a playmaking DB who has recently received a few offers from Duke, Louisville, and Eastern Kentucky. When I first watched his film, I thought his technique was good, but his game is superb once the ball is in the air. It also helps that he has experience facing great talents with a good mix of run-heavy and pass-heavy teams.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>LB: [player_tooltip player_id="278012" first="DiMari" last="Malone"] - Dakota</strong></span>
I didn’t know much at all about [player_tooltip player_id="278012" first="DiMari" last="Malone"] before a few days ago, and honestly, I still don’t know too much about him. I do know, though, that as a Freshman Linebacker, he already has offers from Bowling Green and Morgan State. I’m excited to see if he lives up to the hype and how he compares to other linebackers attending the event.
<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>DL: [player_tooltip player_id="80935" first="Tyler" last="Dosh"] - Davison </strong></span>
There are so many Davison players I’ve been dying to see, and on Saturday, I get to see multiple. [player_tooltip player_id="80935" first="Tyler" last="Dosh"] is one of Michigan’s best EDGE rushers, and I’m expecting him to perform and test well. I hope to see him do well in the 1 on 1 competitions.
