Preseason All-Alachua County Team: Offense

As a newer resident of the Sunshine State, I’m finally getting comfortable and easing into the recruiting scene of the mecca of high school football. As I’m sure a lot of football fans do when they move to a new place, I began exploring the prep football scene by getting acquainted with the talent closest to home, which in my case is beautiful Alachua County. Now almost a year ago, my girlfriend and I decided to jump on her chance to enroll at the University of Florida to get her master’s in urban planning, and in the middle of August 2021, we became the newest residents of Gainesville, FL after a long ride from downtown Chicago and our former home. Although still new to the area, last season I dabbled in checking out 352 talent and watched the likes of <em>Dunnellon, </em><em>Gainesville Buchholz, Ocala </em><em>Vanguard</em>, and <em>Tavares </em>battle under the beautiful Florida sky while scouting talent for <em>PrepRedzoenFL. </em>Now that we’re nearing a year of living in Gainesville, I’m beginning to settle in and am planning on starting to contribute to our Florida site more often, especially as the lone scout in the northern part of the state. I want to begin things by focusing on my home county of Alachua, and today, after checking out more than 100 different players Hudl accounts from the eight high school football programs that are active in the county of almost 300k people, we are ready to announce the 2022 Preseason All-Alachua County Team: Offensive Edition.
