Continue ReadingThe month of April is a busy one for many prospects throughout the Natural State. At Prep RedZone Arkansas, we update our rankings several times a year and April is a good month to update the 2025 prospect rankings. With a total of 91 prospects, the 2025 class is one that I am getting excited about. In this article, we are going to look at the prospects that shooting up the rankings.
Kiandrea David Barker-Running Back-Beebe-6’1” 185-Pounds
Plenty of college scouts are starting to take notice of the talented running back. Barker recently received a scholarship offer from the Pitt Panthers and a week ago he received one from Penn State. Barker explodes through the hole and is dangerous when he gets into the open field. An impressive trait, that Barker continues to improve upon is how good of a receiver he is. The young man has an extremely high ceiling, and more scholarship offers will be coming his way.
Garyt Odom Garyt Odom 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Fayetteville | 2025 AR -Quarterback-Shiloh Christian-5’11” 150-Pounds
Odom is a talented quarterback with a strong arm. He does a great job of fitting the football into some tight windows. What stands out is the pocket presence that Odom has. The young man knows when to escape the pocket and pick up yards on the ground. Odom has already picked up scholarship offers from Purdue and North Texas. He is someone who I expect to explode over the next year from a recruiting perspective.
Aiden Evans Aiden Evans 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB Har-Ber | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-Springdale Har-Ber-5’11 165-Pounds
One quarterback that seems to be always working on the game is Aiden Evans Aiden Evans 5'11" | 180 lbs | QB Har-Ber | 2025 State AR . He has a strong arm and displays good footwork in the pocket. Evans is going to give the Har-Ber Wildcats a quarterback that can make all the throws needed to execute the offense and drive the ball down the field. Evans is a quarterback that throws a good deep ball and keeps his eyes down the field as he is scrambling. I look forward to seeing what he has in store for this season. He is a prospect on the rise.
Isaiah Arrington Isaiah Arrington 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Greenwood | 2025 State AR -Wide Receiver-Greenwood-5’11” 145-Pounds
The Greenwood wide receiver continues to shoot up the prospect rankings. Arrington ran a 4.3 forty-yard dash a few weeks ago. He is a crisp route runner that creates separation using his route running. Arrington does a great job of looking the ball in and then running with the football. He is a prospect that is only going to get better the more he sees the field. Keep an eye on Arrington he has the talent to one day play on Saturdays.
Nykkisson Wimberly Nykkisson Wimberly 6'1" | 255 lbs | DL Arkadelphia | 2025 State AR -Defensive Lineman-Arkadelphia-6’0” 231-Pounds
Wimberly is very versatile and can play any of the positions along the defensive line. He shows good quickness out of the stance. Wimberly is a powerful defensive lineman and can use his mix of power and speed to create plenty of headaches for the opposing offensive line. He will not give up on a play and wants to be in on every tackle. Wimberly is a prospect that I expect to continue to shoot up the rankings. He has the potential to light up Friday nights for the next several years.
Maddox Hampton Maddox Hampton 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Nettleton | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-Nettleton-5’10” 160-Pounds
Hampton is impressive when throwing the football on the run. He throws an accurate football and can fit the ball into some tight windows. Hampton knows when to escape the pocket. However, he will keep his eyes down the field and look for a wide receiver to come open. He does not always look for the explosive play, he does not mind in the least taking what the defense gives him. Hampton is a prospect that I expect to have a strong 2022 football season.
