The articles that go over new prospects are always my favorite ones to write throughout the year. The more names we add to the list the more articles we get to do highlighting the newcomers and that is always a favorite article to write and go over.
Omarion Robinson Omarion Robinson 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR -Defensive Back-Little Rock Parkview 6’0” 175-Pounds
With four scholarship offers to his credit, Robinson is a defensive back to watch out for over the next few years. He is a playmaker in the secondary and is all over the field for the Patriots. Robinson has the hands needed to pick off passes and take it the other direction. Robinson has the speed to cause problems for opposing wide receivers. He is a prospect that does not shy away from contact and can deliver a hit when needed. Robinson is a prospect with the potential to play on Saturdays, so keep an eye out for him.
Karter Ratliff Karter Ratliff 6'6" | 215 lbs | WR Bryant | 2025 State AR -Wide Receiver-Bryant-6’5” 185-Pounds
One player that has had a strong offseason is Bryant wide receiver Karter Ratliff Karter Ratliff 6'6" | 215 lbs | WR Bryant | 2025 State AR . Ratliff has started to hone his craft on the 7-on-7 fields. The Bryant wide receiver is a difficult matchup for opposing defensive backs. He uses his 6’5” frame well to highpoint the football. Ratliff has the opportunity to be a force in the red zone over the next few seasons. Bryant will have a great mix of run and pass threats this season and I expect a big season from Ratliff.
Jadyn Johnson Jadyn Johnson 6'0" | 195 lbs | WR Van Buren | 2025 State AR -Wide Receiver-Van Buren-6’0” 165-Pounds
The Van Buren receiving corps has the potential to be a difficult unit to account for this season. Johnson runs smooth routes and does a great job of looking the ball in before turning it up the field. Johnson hones his craft and is a student of the game. He is the type of wide receiver that can work over the middle and not blink an eye. I look for Johnson to have strong offseason and factor in well to the Van Buren offense this season. Keep an eye out for Johnson this season.
Harris Vinson Harris Vinson 6'1" | 205 lbs | WR Bentonville West | 2025 State AR -Athlete-Bentonville West-6’0” 185-Pounds
The Bentonville West product is impressive on both sides of the ball. From the linebacker perspective, he is a prospect that is always around the football. Vinson does a good job of fending off blocks and getting into the offensive backfield. He is a prospect that plays with a high motor. I expect to have a big year in 2022 and continue to earn some playing time this coming season. Vinson is a prospect to watch in 2022.
Brandon Cobb Brandon Cobb 6'4" | 205 lbs | QB Pulaski Academy | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-Pulaski Academy-6’2” 160-Pounds
Brandon Cobb Brandon Cobb 6'4" | 205 lbs | QB Pulaski Academy | 2025 State AR is another impressive quarterback that Pulaski Academy seems to have an endless supply. Cobb has a strong arm, and he has the arm strength to burn the ball in there. He is a quarterback that knows when to escape the pocket and keep his eyes down the field. The mobility that Cobb has serves him well when it comes to escaping the pocket. Cobb is a quarterback to watch out for over the next couple of years.
Marcus Wimberly Marcus Wimberly 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Bauxite | 2025 State AR -Athlete-Bauxite-6’1” 170-Pounds
One of the most versatile prospects in the class of 2025 is Marcus Wimberly Marcus Wimberly 6'1" | 170 lbs | DB Bauxite | 2025 State AR . He can play all over the field and excel in the process. He has great speed and uses it well on both sides of the ball. On the defensive side of the ball, Wimberly is not afraid to make a tackle. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball he is dangerous with the ball in his hands. Wimberly is set to have an impressive season for Bauxite and is a player to watch out for this season.
