Ohio Capital Conference Top 2023 – Ohio Division

Central Ohio is loaded with talent in the 2023 and 2024 classes like the rest of the state.  This series will focus on the league breakdowns for the 2023 class. <strong>Gahanna Lincoln</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189506" first="Jaden" last="Yates"]</strong>, LB - Jaden was a bit underrated in the class of 2023 at the beginning but has garnered 5 offers after the season .  He is a great football player with good athleticism and patience in the box.  He reads plays well and gets to the ball quickly.  He uses his hands aggressively to shed blocks and maintain his gaps.  Can run sideline to sideline and close on ball carriers.  He is good in the pass game and gets to his zones quickly with good close. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/12850165/Jaden-Yates">https://www.hudl.com/profile/12850165/Jaden-Yates</a> <strong>Pickerington North</strong> <strong>Kaedyn Dunbar-White</strong>, SS/OLB - Take a long look at the film and you see an athletic beast in the making.  He is a hybrid player with good twitch and running ability.  He can take on blocks and shed easily with his strength.  Plays multi techniques well and transitions well between them.  Closes fast in the run game and forces the ball inside.  Closes out underneath routes and can run with slot receivers.  Very good tackler with aggression and hip drive. HUDL: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12946035/6134095fd21c6605acd69135 <strong>Westerville Central</strong> <strong>Stanley Jackson</strong>, Ath - Stanley is an excellent football player who can play multiple positions.  His natural position is at Tailback and he has great twitch and wiggle in the open field.  He is a threat to score every time he touches it.  He is a patient runner with good vision and burst.  He separates in the open field and accelerates.  Really impressive football player with good upside. HUDL: <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/12823367/Stanley-Jackson">https://www.hudl.com/profile/12823367/Stanley-Jackson</a> <strong>Westland</strong> <strong>Zane Gibbs</strong>, WR - Zane is an excellent football player who has game changing ability at the WR position.  Plays in the slot and cuts up the seams of the defense with his athletic ability.  Runs great routes with great top end snap and whip.  Gets open in space and has good awareness.  Can get off man coverage and take the top off a defense.  Really impressive catcher with his hands and his eyes.  Give him a long hard look.
