The ’23 athlete is the top recruit in the North Bay regardless of class and has already pulled in several FBS offers and has power five abilities at the corner position. Coming off a huge Junior season where he was very explosive and effected the game in all three phases, he will once again lead one of the top teams in all of Northern California and be a do it all player for the Cougars.
RB [player_tooltip player_id="25387" first="Kai" last="Hall"], St. Vincent de Paul HS
Hall is closing in on the all time Redwood Empire rushing record and has put together elite back to back to back seasons on his way to being the most productive running back in the region over the last three years. Playing for one of the top small school teams in Northern California, he recently picked up his first offer from Air Force and should gather other FCS+ offers as he moves into and through his Senior season.
LB [player_tooltip player_id="261794" first="Santino" last="Acevedo"], Cardinal Newman HS
Acavedo is one of the top three two-way players that the North Bay has to offer and does serious damage running the ball tough inside while a very active and smart inside linebacker. Although still awaiting his first offer, his speed and size combination make him very intriguing at the college level and would upgrade any linebacker room.
OL [player_tooltip player_id="190442" first="Cameron" last="Vaughn"], St. Vincent de Paul HS
Vaughn is the top 2023 offensive lineman in the North Bay and a violent, athletic and a dominant phone booth blocker that can pull effectively and finish blocks and is extremely smart in the classroom. He has been starting since his Sophomore season for the Mustangs and will once again lead a strong Mustang rushing attack this Fall.
LB [player_tooltip player_id="190441" first="Nathan" last="Rooks"], St. Vincent de Paul HS
Rooks is a physical player that produces at fullback, middle linebacker and defensive end for the NCS Division 7 champs and helps lead the way for their All-State ball carrier. He is a downhill playmaker that brings good thump at contact and displays explosion off the ball and a strong use of hands when rushing the passer. He is a college caliber player and can play multiple positions at the next level. After putting together three very impressive seasons for the Mustangs, he is poised for another huge Senior season as the team looks to get back to the NCS championship game.
QB/LB Henry Ellis, Petaluma HS
Ellis is one of the top quarterbacks in the North Bay and a very effective running threat both on designed runs and when scrambling. He can throw the ball downfield in tight windows with a quick release and has a strong arm when rolling out. In the run game, he is a tough and physical runner that is hard to tackle and always falls forward and gains the extra yards. In the right system, he can do some serious damage at the college level on either side of the ball.
RB/LB Tupotu Hale, Rancho Cotate HS
A top ’24 prospects in the region, Hale is a true receiving back with strong hands and good body control that will only continue to develop open field speed over the course of his high school career. In the short area, he has good quickness and foot speed while able to catch on the run and make people miss in the open field. He should be the leading back for the Cougars this fall.
WR/DB Ananias Walker, Rancho Cotate HS
Walker has burst onto the scene this Spring and has really intriguing length and size for only being a Sophomore. He recently picked up his first offer from Colorado State and is explosive with the ball in his hands. He is a long strider that covers ground and has open field speed with excellent ball location abilities and strong hands in traffic. Walker is a very fluid athlete that has some upside in college due to his length and range.
