It’s a place where every coach comes to recruit, and it’s home to some of the top programs and top prospects across the state. Many are seeing their recruitment take off, and we saw multiple Gwinnett County prospects earn new major offers recently.
Paul Mubenga Paul Mubenga 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Buford | 2023 State GA – OT – Buford
One of the top overall 2023 offensive line prospects in Georgia, Mubenga earned a new SEC offer this weekend from LSU. The Wolves’ offensive line helped paved the way for a state championship last fall, and Mubenga was a big reason why. The 6-foot-4 280-pounder is lean, mean, and opened up a lot of holes for the Buford backs last season. As a prospect, he has a great frame with the ability to add more muscle and weight over time. He’s strong at the point of attack and plays with leverage, driving opposing defenders backwards. He now holds SEC offers from LSU and Arkansas.
#AGTG After a great visit I’m Truly Blessed To have received an offer from LSU @Coach_Davis22 @_DeMackk @coachbraddavis @CoachSDeMeo @BobbyBarham_LSU @LSUfootball @BufordGAPrspcts @ChadSimmons_ @Mansell247 @RWrightRivals pic.twitter.com/sbRqTEltUC

Katrell Webb Katrell Webb 6'3" | 240 lbs | OL Collins Hill | 2026 State GA – OT – Collins Hill
Don’t let his age fool you, the current 2026 OL/DL has five-star potential down the road and will suit up for the mighty Collins Hill Eagles in the fall. At 6-foot-2 220-pounds, Webb is already a physically imposing young player who showed off his athleticism last fall at the FBU 8th Grade Tryouts. He can dominate on the basketball court as well, but many have high expectations for him on the gridiron for the next several years. Without playing a down of high school football, Webb earned an offer from LSU this week, and it certainly won’t be his last. As a prospect, he’s big, strong, and moves really well for his size. He can dominate opposing defensive lineman at this stage as an offensive tackle and has a chance to keep it up at the next level. He has a crazy high ceiling and could see the field early as a freshman in 2022.
After a talk with @coachbraddavis I am blessed to receive my first SEC offer From Louisiana State University 🐅@CoachBeck56 @GregoryLenny @coachGPhillips @JeremyO_Johnson @GrindFactory7v7 @BillyEmbody @BobbyBarham_LSU @CoachMHouse @PGuy_77 @ScarboroughMike pic.twitter.com/MgpimUrdJn

Jojo Stone – WR/DB- Grayson
One of the best players on a loaded Grayson roster, Stone is a dynamic athlete and earned an offer recently from the Ohio State Buckeyes. They only offer the best of the best, and Stone is one of the very best in Georgia for the 2024 class. The 5-foot-11 180-pounder will likely play defensive back at the next level, but he can play DB, WR, RB and QB if needed. He has five-star potential and could be one of the highest-ranked athletes in the country for the 2024 class. He shows good ball skills, great burst with the ball, and the ability to create separation at a receiver. He can also take the ball out of the backfield, from the slot, or on the outside. His speed and explosiveness make him a threat to score every time he has the ball, so he needs to get the ball in multiple ways. Defensively, Prep Redzone believes Stone is one of the top cover corners across the state for the 2024 class.
DREAMS 2 REALITY ✞ ✞
EXTREMELY GLORIFIED TO RECEIVE AN OFFER FROM “THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY”❤️🌰#BIA #GoBuckeyes @CoachTimWalton @CoachM_Patrick @brianhartline @Coach_FredM pic.twitter.com/0DWzPljEQd— Jojostonejr (@jojostonejr) April 22, 2022
Jalyn Crawford Jalyn Crawford 6'1" | 165 lbs | DB Parkview | 2024 State GA – DB – Parkview
One of the fastest-rising DBs across Georgia, Crawford is an excellent defensive back in coverage who knows how to make a play on the football. He’s a silky-smooth cornerback with length at 6-foot-0 170-pounds, and he picked up an offer last week from Louisville. He closes really well on receivers, he’s technically sound, shows great footwork, and does a great job of reading the quarterback. If the receiver is lucky enough to get a step on him or get behind him at all, Crawford does a good job of closing well at the last minute and breaking up the pass. Crawford broke up 9 passes last fall as a sophomore, playing against some tough 7A competition each week
