Elite Football Combine: Missouri 2025 quarterbacks

The Elite Football Combine is one of the top events in Missouri every year and this year's event, held on March 12 at the Lou Fusz indoor facility in Earth City, did not disappoint. We will be taking a look at some the top performers at the event divided by class year, positions and home state, and listed alphabetically. For more Combine coverage, please check out the links at the bottom of the page. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="326603" first="Henry" last="Allebach"], North County</strong> Allebach measured in at 6-feet-1 and 186.4 pounds, so he already has decent size for the position. He recorded a pro-agility time of 4.85 seconds and threw the powerball 31 feet 5 inches. Allebach is a pocket passer who throws a nice ball and will be a player to watch for the next few years. He has played 7 on 7 with Midwest Boom this offseason and trained with Elite Football Academy, which has a strong track record of working with quarterbacks. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="326611" first="Preston" last="Brown"], Hillsboro</strong> Measuring in at 6-0 and 170.8 pounds, Brown showed he is one of the better athletes of this quarterback group. He recorded a pro-agility time of 4.31, ran the 40 in 4.89, recorded a broad jump of 9 feet and a vertical leap of 28 inches. Brown got some varsity experience as a freshman as one of three quarterbacks to record stats for Hillsboro -- the Hawks' starter was a sophomore and the backup was a junior. Brown completed two of three passes for nine yards and was intercepted once. He also ran twice for 15 yards. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="326615" first="Carter" last="Holliday"], Hickman</strong> Holliday was the tallest of this quarterback group, measuring in at 6-2 and 160 pounds, and had a decent all-around day in testing. He recorded a 4.84 pro-agility, threw the powerball 34-9, broad jumped 8-2 and had a vertical leap of 24 inches. Holliday earned some starts on the varsity level as a freshman last fall -- he completed nine of 20 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown and ran for 57 yards on three carries in his debut -- but after two starts his season was unfortunately cut short by an illness. He recorded a pro-agility time of 4.66, a broad jump of 8-2, a vertical leap of 25 inches and a powerball toss of 30-8. McMullen's film from his freshman season shows he's a young prospect with good touch who can also gain yardage with his feet when opportunities arise. <iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/2/616627/614ccc0323472d0294a82937" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="284616" first="Essien" last="Smith"], Festus</strong> Prep Redzone has Smith, who measured in at 5-10 and 163 pounds, listed and ranked as an athlete due to his size and athleticism, but he looks like he will take over as the starting quarterback on the varsity for Festus as a sophomore this fall. Smith showed his athleticism in limited reps on varsity as a freshman – he had six carries for 176 yards, averaging a remarkable 29.3 yards per carry, and two touchdowns – and showed it again at the Combine.
