Here is Part 2 of the top up and coming signal callers from South Georgia.
Pauly Seeley | 6’ 190 lbs | New Hampstead High School | Class of 2023
Seeley earned First Team All Region honors last season. He threw for 1,925 yards, completed 128 of his 229 passing attempts, scored 22 touchdowns, and had a Quarterback Rating of 93.9. He led New Hampstead to a 6-4 record and 1st round of the playoffs. The junior QB currently holds offers from Western Kentucky, Elon, Bowling Green, and Middle Tennessee State. He also has interest from James Madison, Georgia Southern, Western Michigan, Toledo, and Wake Forest.
Chip Cooper | 6’ 180 lbs | Worth County High School | Class of 2023
Cooper was one of the top dual threats in south Georgia. He won Region 1-AA Football Player of the Year and was named Class 2A All State Honorable Mention. He passed for 1,921 yards, completed 54 percent of his passes going 173 for 319, threw 21 pasing touchdowns, and finished with a passer rating of 85.2. He also ran for 1,002 rushing yards, averaged 7.8 per attempt, and scored 7 rushing touchdowns. I predict his recruiting will pick up within the next couple of months, but he is already receiving interest from Georgia Southern and Troy.
Kameron Davis Kameron Davis 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Dougherty | 2024 State GA | 5’11’’ 195 lbs | Dougherty High School | Class of 2024
Davis is not neccesarily a Quarterback, but one of the most dynamic athletes in the state. He is ranked the 2nd Running Back in the state and 8th overall player in Georgia for the Class of 2024. Even though he is listed as a RB, and being recruited as such, he is one of the most effecient passers in the state playing in a direct snap/ single wing style offense. He was responsible for a total 3,150 yards of Dougherty’s offense. He threw for 1,787 yrds, completed 107 of 176 passing attempts which is 61 percent, scored 13 passing touchdwons, only had 3 interceptions, and had a QB rating of 112.6. On the rushing side, he ran for 1,363 rushing yards, averaged 10.7 per carry on 127 attempts, and scored 16 rushing touchdowns. The Florida State commit led his team to a 10-3 record and the Class 4A State Quarter Finals.
Chris Martin | 6’2’’ 180 lbs | Lee County High School | Class of 2024
Martin is one of the more pure passers in the state. The 8th ranked Quarterback in the state, he was named 1st Team All Region and led all passers in Region 1-6A. The Lee County signal caller passed for 1,732 yards, completed 60 perecent of his passes by connecting on 126 of his 208 attempts, and threw for 24 touchdowns. HIs production was a key factor in the team going 11-2 and making it to the Class 6A State Quarter Finals.
Gavin Hall Gavin Hall 5'10" | 190 lbs | QB Gainesville | 2024 State GA | 6’2’’ 180 lbs | Toombs County High School | Class of 2023
Hall was named First Team 2-AA All Region in his first year as a starter. The Toombs County QB played like a veteran and accounted for 1,656 passing yards, completed 57 percent of his passes, scored 18 touchdowns, had 12 interceptions, and finished with a passer rating of 81.2. Hall is currently receiving interest from Louisville, Notre Dame, and Georgia Southern.
Ty Goldrick | 6’3’’ 215 lbs | Richmond Hill High School | Class of 2023
Goldrick, who is also receiving interest from Georgia Southern, is another south Georgia QB to keep an eye on. The Richmond Hill athlete threw for 1,537 passing yards, went 110 for 175 completing 63 percent of his passes, threw for 10 touchdowns, and had a Quarterback Rating of 86.3.
