Now that the regular season is over in Georgia, it’s officially camp season across the peach state as we inch closer to the spring. One of the biggest camps of the season, the all-important Under Armour Camp, made it’s way to Atlanta this past weekend. It was a star-studded camp featuring some of the top prospects in Georgia in the 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 class.
Here are some of the top performers at running back and linebacker...
[player_tooltip player_id="94017" first="Dee" last="Crayton"] - Linebacker - Denmark
One of the highest-ranked linebackers in attendance, Crayton is an instinctive linebacker who loves to get downhill and make plays in the backfield. He was excellent in drill work, appeared to be fundamentally sound, and looked like a natural in coverage. He stood out in a talented linebacker squad and proved why he has offers from Penn State, Auburn, and many other D! programs. After a standout day, Crayton was invited to play in the Under Armour Game next year.

[player_tooltip player_id="126596" first="Jeremiah" last="Telander"] - Linebacker - Gainesville
The "Linebacker MVP" on the day, Telander is a bigger linebacker at 6-foot-2 210-pounds, but he’s still as athletic as it gets. He moves well and really excelled in coverage on the day. His toughness and run stopping ability was tough to see in a camp setting like this, but he proved he can move and cover quick, speedy backs out of the backfield. He’s one of the fastest-rising linebackers in the state and proved it on Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id="34011" first="Justice" last="Haynes"] - Running Back - Blessed Trinity
One of the top running back prospects in the entire country, Haynes didn’t do everything at the camp, but he still proved why he’s an an elite running back prospect. He’s put together well physically at 5-foot-11 200-pounds and was really smooth in drill work. He’s quick, explosive, and has great footwork. He’s a dynamic back, and while he didn’t participate the entire time, it was easy to notice him in a very talented running back group.

Benjamin Hall - Running Back - North Cobb
Named "Running Back Co-MVP", the North Cobb standout continues to impress and see his stock rise on the recruiting trail. The 6-foot-0 220-pounder is a bruising, tackle-breaking back on Friday nights, but showed some quickness and shiftiness during the camp. He showed he’s a smooth runner for a bigger back as well. He’s shifty, runs with balance, and has some power to his game as well. He ran hard and will be one of the top returning running backs in the region next fall. After rushing for 543 yards and eight touchdowns last fall to go along with a strong Under Armour Camp performance, Hall should continue to see his stock rise over the next few months.

Jamarion Wilcox - Running Back - South Paulding
Another "Running Back Co-MVP", Wilcox proved why he’s one of the top running backs in the area for the 2023 class. He shows a very physical running style with good vision and the ability to make people miss. He runs hard, breaks tackles in the lower body, and can be tough to bring down by just one defender. He carried the offense at times during the season and ended the year with 202 carries for 1,534 yards and 23 touchdowns. He made it know he’s one of the state’s best and should see his stock continue to rise this spring, especially after a strong showing at the Under Armour camp.
[player_tooltip player_id="179373" first="Amon" last="Williams"] - Running Back - Denmark
Participating on his home turf at Denmark High School, Williams showed he’s a big weapon out of the backfield. He can get open in the passing game and made play after play with ease. His quickness and straight-line speed allowed him to get behind defenders down the field when he went up against linebackers. In a strong group, Williams impressed with his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Look for him to have a giant season for the Danes as a senior this fall.
