Southeast Michigan is filled with some of the best TEs in the state. Highlighted by two nationally ranked TEs, Southeast Michigan is a hotbed for 2023 TEs. [player_tooltip player_id="234420" first="Khamari" last="Anderson"] (2023) | 6’4 225 TE | Cass Tech Ranked as one of the top TEs in the state, [player_tooltip player_id="234420" first="Khamari" last="Anderson"] received multiple division 1 scholarship offers until he announced his commitment to Cincinnati University on February 3rd. At 6’4 and 225 pounds, Anderson has division 1 measurables and competes for one of the top teams in the state of Michigan. Look for Cass Tech and Anderson to make a deep run in the state playoffs this Fall. Henry Garrity (2023) | 6’4 205 TE | Birmingham Brother Rice Garrity is ranked as a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports and holds multiple Division 1 offers. Playing for one of the most storied programs in the state, Garrity will look to make an impact on the Warriors in his senior campaign. Competing the Catholic League, Garrity will have multiple chances to display his skills on a large stage competing in storied rivalry games against Catholic Central and Orchard Lake St Mary’s. Jon Kersh (2023) | 6’2 210 TE | Cranbrook At 6’2 and 210 pounds, John Kersh stars for Cranbrook in both football and basketball. In his junior campaign, Kersh started both ways for Cranes at TE and MLB, leading the team in tackles on defense. On the offensive side of the ball, Kersh’s biggest game came against Waterford’s Our Lady of the Lakes when he caught 3 balls for 90 yards and a touchdown, highlighted by a 65-yard catch and run on the first offensive play of the game for a touchdown. The captain of the Cranes will look to lead Cranbrook to a successful season in the Fall. Reed Spickard (2023) | 6’7 210 TE | Walled Lake Northern In his junior year, Reed Spickard played both ways for the Knights as a TE on offense and a DE on defense. The 6’7 athlete runs very well and is a solid run blocker. When he is not dunking a basketball, Reed Spickard is an incredibly talented TE. On tape, Reed shows solid route running and an ability to run after the catch. The best part of Pickard’s game is his run blocking which is on display throughout his highlight film. The dual-sport athlete will look to lead Walled Lake Northern in both basketball and football. [player_tooltip player_id="30350" first="Ben" last="Przytula"] (2023) | 6’4 250 TE | Carlson Przytula starts both ways for Carlson high school and is easily one of the most talented under-the-radar TEs in the state. At 6’4 and 250 pounds, Przytula runs well and shows an ability to catch the ball in traffic and run after the catch. With his size, Ben is an effective run blocker and can drive defenders off the ball. Przytula’s best game of the year came against White Lake Lakeland where he had 3 catches for 66 yards and a touchdown.
