I set out to find some of the top 2023 wide receiver sleepers in the state of Indiana. These guys put together some impressive statistical seasons in the fall of 2021, but I believe they still aren't getting the attention they deserve. Look for them to come out with a vengeance in 2022 and put together an even bigger senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="107080" first="Jaron" last="Tibbs"], 6’4", 190, Cathedral
A tall long strider whose comfortable working the middle of the field. Jaron is a tough man to bring down after the catch and will burst through arm tackle attempts. He looks the ball into the tuck and will get vertical immediately following any reception. The production is there as he totaled 1,105 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns last fall.

Marques Reese, 5’6", 150, Ben Davis
Don't let his size fool you; this man is a serious home run threat. On tape, he made defenders look silly in space and calmly sidestepped tacklers that had an angle on him. Reese never avoids contact and made multiple catches while taking shots from second and third-level defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id="107081" first="Isaiah" last="Thacker"], 6’1", 190, New Palestine
A dynamic wide receiver that can create chunk plays out of almost anything. He has serious build-up speed that allows him to cruise right past opposing cornerbacks. Thacker's cuts are so explosive and will often times cause tacklers to stop closing ground leading to a plethora of yards after the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id="185228" first="Evan" last="Dienhart"], 5’8", 155, Lafayette Central Catholic
A crisp route runner that knows how to set up opposing safeties and linebackers. Evan has steady hands and uses his god-given burst to create separation at the top of his route. I was quite impressed by his body control as he was able to adjust and make multiple catches on balls thrown well behind him.

[player_tooltip player_id="185212" first="Gannan" last="Howes"], 5’11", 175, Hanover Central
A jitterbug with phenomenal balance as a runner and pristine vision. His hips are fluid and allow him to redirect & get going the opposite way like its second nature. He's a physical blocker on the perimeter with a nasty punch. This young man is so fun to watch on tape and is a fiend for yards after contact.

Micah Mackay, 6'1", 185, Indianapolis Lutheran
A deceptive route runner that may not be a blazer but consistently finds ways to get himself open. Mackay tracks the ball well and will pluck the football out of the air. As a blocker, he keeps his feet moving on contact and will drive his man where he doesn't want to go. He's a possession-type receiver that is willing to go out and do the dirty work.
