<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Every legitimate playoff team has to have athletic offensive tackles that can mirror and protect the passer. It is imperative to be able to line it up and gain a first down even when the defense knows that the offense has to pass the ball. These edge protectors are the few that have stood out and have been making a name for themselves early.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Trevor Goosby</strong> - Melissa High school - Class of 2023</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Trevor</strong> is a 6’7 280 pound recruit out of Melissa high school that has the prototypical length and range that scouts covet in a tackle. He's </span><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">a lean athlete with a great frame that can easily hold well over 315 pounds. He has a good kick set, nice posture, and a bevy of offers from virtually everywhere in the county. </span><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">He is a versatile prospect that will be exciting to watch throughout the camp circuit.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><strong><span class="s1">[player_tooltip player_id="262710" first="Markis" last="Deal"] - Naaman Forest High School- Class of 2023</span></strong></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Markis</strong> is a technically sound and rangy athlete that can play either tackle or defensive line<span class="Apple-converted-space"> at a high</span> level. At 6’6 290 pounds, I believe he is best suited as a tackle long term due to his intangibles and smooth kick set.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>From watching his development from afar he looks even leaner than he was last season.</span><span class="s1"> All of the blue blood programs around the country have taken notice and it will be interesting to see where he decides to commit to. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Caleb Hackleman - Pleasant Grove High school - Class of 2024</strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Caleb</strong> is a 6’5 270 pound tackle that has impressed me early this spring with his hip mobility and position versatility. </span><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">He has a long frame, good posture and is poised for a huge summer. He has the ideal length, foot speed, and size of a D1 tackle but has shown the range to play on the interior as well. </span><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">At 270 pounds he is still very lean and has a bunch of room on his frame that he will fill in over time. He is going to be a national recruit and he holds an </span><span style="font-size: 1rem; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">early offer from Texas Tech. I’m excited to see how he does on the camp circuit this summer.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Qua Davis - Lewisville High School - Class of 2023 </strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Measuring in at 6’8 weighing over 320 pounds <strong>Qua</strong> is a high major offensive tackle with a huge ceiling. <strong>Qua</strong> stood out a lot to me on tape this past fall and has great job developing his game. He has shown noticeable improvement in his bend, strike and movement skills. </span><span class="s1">He has quick feet, good hand usage and will be a huge cog in the Famers success next season.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span></p>
