The class of 2023 has the potential to be an incredibly strong class in the state of Arkansas. The wide receiver position is one that continues to produce extremely talented wide receivers. Today, we are going to take a look at some wide receivers that will be included in the next set of Prep RedZone Arkansas updates.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="267789" first="Mauri" last="Smith"]-Fort Smith Northside-5’10” 160-Pounds</strong>
The Northside Grizzly does a terrific job of creating separation from opposing defensive backs. He has the speed to create plenty of separation from opposing defensive backs. Smith has the versatility to play the slot or the outside receiver position. Smith is a wide receiver that has the potential to have a strong season in 2022. He has the tools needed to make any play ask of him and Northside has the talent on the offensive side of the ball to be a dangerous team this season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="293953" first="Blake" last="Bentley"]-Mountain Home-5’9” 150-Pounds</strong>
Bentley is a prospect that is incredibly versatile. The young man can shift from the running back to the wide receiver position rather easily. Bentley is difficult for the opposing secondary to cover whether he is coming out of the backfield or split out wide. He has the speed to stretch the field and the hands to haul the ball in consistently. Mountain Home fans can expect another big season from Bentley, and he is a prospect to watch out for this season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="301367" first="Jarvis" last="Reed"]-Camden Fairview-6’0” 165-Pounds</strong>
The Camden Fairview wide receiver is a player that uses his crisp route running to get open. The routes that [player_tooltip player_id="301367" first="Jarvis" last="Reed"] runs are precise, and he uses them to create separation from the opposing defender. Reed’s hands are good and brings in the passes consistently. He is a player that has the potential to have a strong season for the Cardinals. The Cardinals are always team that challenge for a deep playoff run and this season should not be any different. Look out for both Reed and the Cardinals.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="249965" first="Landon" last="Koch"]-Harding Academy-6’2” 170-Pounds</strong>
Koch is a big play wide receiver for Harding Academy. He has the ability to stretch the field and impact the game in a matter of seconds. Koch is able to use his 6’2 frame to his advantage to high point the football and haul in the receptions. Harding Academy has won state championships over the past few years, and I expect them to have another strong team this season. Look out for Koch he has the potential to open some eyes this season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="239996" first="Aiden" last="Kennon"]-Greenwood-6’1” 210-Pounds</strong>
One thing you can count on from the Greenwood Bulldogs is for them to always have plenty of talented quarterbacks as well as talented wide receivers. [player_tooltip player_id="239996" first="Aiden" last="Kennon"] has an incredible amount of versatility. The young man can work out of the backfield, at the receiver position, and he works as a kick returner. He has good speed and is extremely shifty, it is tough for defensive players to haul him down. Kennon can work out wide or in the slot and he is a difficult matchup for opposing defensive backs. He is going to be a player to watch out for this season, the potential is there for a strong season.
