Today we are going to a look at East Poinsett County’s Dennis Gaines Dennis Gaines 5'10" | 165 lbs | RB East Poinsett County | 2024 State AR and shine the spotlight on the talented 2024 running back.
Looking first at the Gaines’ production on the field from the running back position. The first trait that I noticed with Gaines is that he is a patient running back. He does an excellent job of allowing the hole to develop before exploding through the hole. Last season, the East Poinsett County running back rushed for 1,254 yards and punched the ball in the end zone 13 times. Gaines totaled 18 touchdowns on the season. The young man is setting the stage for a huge 2022 football season.
Gaines is not satisfied with an incredible performance last season. He has continued to work on areas to improve for this upcoming season. Gaines is continuing to hit the weights and is working on getting his forty-time down. He is a running back that just wants to continue to improve and has the work ethic it takes to do so. Gaines is an extremely versatile player, so he is making sure he is focused on improving this offseason.
The East Poinsett County running back has plenty of team and individual goals that he would like to accomplish this season. The main team goal that Gaines wants to accomplish is win a state championship. The talent is there for East Poinsett County to challenge for a state championship. From the individual perspective, Gaines would like to earn all-state honors and pick up a scholarship offer. All of the goals stated in this article are possible and it would surprise me if he did not accomplish them.
The best is yet to come for the East Poinsett County running back. I expect a big season ahead from Gaines this season. He has the work and desire to improve to accomplish any goal he lays out for himself. Gaines has already put up the numbers to open some eyes, and he has the potential to explode on to the scene this season. Keep an eye on Gaines, he has the drive to do some big things over the next two seasons!
