Georgia vs Florida High School Showcase: Watch List WRs

The Georgia vs Florida High School Showcase took place this past January, and featured some of the states top athletes. We will take a look at some of the Wide Receivers who our on the Watch List for next season’s event. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-304108" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/redzone/uploads/2022/03/IMG_4351-300x272.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="272" /> Tyler Smith | 5’10’’ 165 lbs | Sunlake High School | Class of 2023 Smith is a precise route runner who led his team in receiving yards this past season with 890 yards. The shifty receiver was responsible for 23 receptions and averaged 17 yards per catch. Smith has already been very active this spring and has been a force for his 7v7 team, Team Tampa. He recently scored 6 touchdowns in one tournament last month. The Sunlake rising senior also holds a 3.9 GPA. &nbsp; Dallas Donahue | 5’7’’ 165 lbs | Merritt Island High School | Class of 2023 Donahue is a 3 time Georgia vs Florida Showcase Alum and has earned Top Performer honors the last 2 years. He was also named 1st Team All State 5A, 1st Team All Space Coast, and 5A Offensive Player Of The Year nominee this past season. The Merritt Island receiver was a big part in the program winning it’s 1st District Title since 2016, a 13-2 record, and a State Championship Runner Up. Donahue is also a 3.88 GPA student. &nbsp; Sebastian Saint Louis | 6’6’’ 210 lbs | Boca Raton High School | Class of 2023 For the past 3 years, an athlete from Boca Raton High School has been named one of the Top Performers in the Georgia vs Florida Showcase and Saint Louis continues the legacy. The junior athlete has the combination of a big frame and great athleticism that makes him a mismatch for opposing defenses. He has the quickness to play outside at Wide Receiver and the toughness to put his hand in the dirt at Tight End. Saint Louis led Boca Raton to 8-3 record and a 1st Round State Playoff appearance. He currently has a 4.3 GPA and holds an offer from Navy. &nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id="128460" first="Jeremiah" last="Gines"] | 5’10’’ 175 lbs | Durant High School | Class of 2023 Gines is already off to an amazing 2022. He was one of the Top Performers from the Georgia vs Florida Underclassmen Showcase and also was named one of the Offensive MVPs at our Prep Redzone FL Showcase back in January.  Gines was a key element to Durant’s success and helped them to a 8-3 record and State Playoff appearance this past season. &nbsp; Joseph Miller | 6’2’’ 200 lbs | Gulf Coast High School | Class of 2023 Miller has an amazing junior campaign and I look for him to make a stronger case in his senior year. He earned 1st Team All Area and 1st Team All Conference honors. He set the school’s single season receiving yards record with 883 yards. That total also led all receivers in the SWFL in yardage, and he had  56 receptions and 6 touchdowns to go along with it. His dominance in the regular season also transferred over to the Georgia vs Florida Underclassmen Showcase as he scored a receiving touchdown for Team Florida. &nbsp; Waden Charles | 6’3’’ 180 lbs | Somerset Academy Canyons | Class of 2025 Charles is the only freshman on the list, but plays the position like a savvy veteran. He led the Somerset Academy in receiving yards as a freshmen with 599 yards and 6 touchdowns. He also had 34 receptions and averaged 17.6 yards per catch. Charles is already off to a great start for the spring. He recently, was listed as one of the top performers in last week’s Rivals Combine Series and earned an invite to the actual Rivals Camp from that performance. Not to mention, he making a name for himself on the track after running a 23.9 in the 200 meter dash. He currently has an offer from Toledo. &nbsp;
