The Offensive Linemen that are in attendance are typically some of the best of the best that the state has to offer, and have the size and skill set that college coaches drool over. Here are some of the O-Linemen that are on the GA vs FL Watch List.
Shamurad Umarova | 6’6” 290 | Denmark High School | Class 2023
Umarova is one of the top linemen in the state, and his recruiting has been on fire for the past year. He is ranked 7th in the state among Offensive Lineman and is the 38th ranked overall prospect in the state. He was named 1st Team All County, anchored an offensive line that led Denmark High School to a Region Championship, an 8-3 record, and the 2nd round of the 7A State Playoffs before losing to powerhouse, Grayson High School. Umarova currently has offers from Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Pitt, Jackson State, Miami, West Virginia, Louisville, Ole Miss, Michigan State, Mizzou, Florida State, Tennessee, and more.
Will Fitzpatrick | 6’5″ 270 lbs | Walton High School | Class of 2023
Fitzpatrick is player to keep your eye on. He was key part of the Offensive Line that led Walton High School to a 9-4 record, and to the 7A State Playoffs Semi Final before losing to Milton High School, the eventual State Runner Up.
Mason Goodyear | 6’1” 285 lbs | Prince Avenue Christian High School | Class of 2023
Goodyear had a dominant season last year and earned 1st Team All Region honors. He was the anchor to an O Line that was the key to Prince Avenue’s 13-2 record, and the 1A Private State Championship before losing to Trinity Christian.
Brandon Reed | 6’4” 315 lbs | Coffee High School | Class of 2023
Reed is an all around athlete who excels in both football and basketball. Not only does his athleticism give him an advantage on the football field, he also was named All Region Honorable Mention in basketball. He was part of an Offensive Line that helped Coffee to a 7-3 record and 1st round playoff appearance that ended with a loss to Creekside.
Nicholas Paul | 6’3” 300 lbs | Clarke Central High School | Class of 2024
Paul has great size and is a very effective run blocker. He and his Offensive Line unit powered a rushing attack that led Clarke Central to a 10-3 Record, and the 3rd round of the State Playoffs.
Ian McGarry | 6’2” 270 lbs | Brookstone High School | Class of 2024
McGrarry was named 2nd Team All Region this past season. His offensive line powered Brookstone to an 8-4 season and the 2nd round of the State Playoffs before losing to Prince Avenue Christian.
Amare Grayson | 6’3” 285 lbs | Stockbridge High School | Class of 2024
Grayson earned 1st Team All Region honors as a sophomore. He and the entire Team Georgia’s offensive line played a big part in their victory over Team Florida in the GA vs FL Underclassmen Game.
Gabe Fortson | 6’5” 300 lbs | North Cobb Christian High School | Class of 2023
Fortson was named 1st Team All State as an Offensive Lineman. He was another part of Team Georgia’s Underclassmen offensive line unit that provided great pass protection, and imposed their will on Team Florida’s defensive line.
Garrett Landing | 6’4” 280 lbs | Pelham High School | Class of 2024
Landing recruiting is all ready off to a good start. As a sophomore, he already has an offer from Georgia Tech. Pelham High School finished the season with a 7-5 record, a 2nd round of the State Playoffs appearance, and Landing played a big part of the run.
