Tight ends possess the ability to be one of the more significant members for offenses because of their likelihood to be utilized in run-heavy and pass-heavy schemes. The five players listed below are must-know athletes who will be entering their junior seasons this fall.
Kai Goetze Kai Goetze 6'3" | 230 lbs | TE Pine Creek | 2024 State CO | Pine Creek | 6’2”, 200lbs
Goetze is a sure-handed receiver who is a quarterback’s ideal target. He has good size and strong route-running abilities. He is a powerful runner when the ball is in his hands, gaining yards after the catch by being unafraid to initiate contact and run through tackles. As a blocker, he utilizes his size, strength, and physicality to barrel through defenders. Goetze has been sharpening his skills as a receiver during the offseason by competing in national 7-on-7 tournaments and finding success, making him a major radar pop-up.

Colton Mills-Younger Colton Mills-Younger 6'2" | 225 lbs | TE Poudre | 2024 State CO | Poudre | 6’2”, 220lbs
Mills-Younger is a receiving TE who can lineup tight or out wide. He is a phenomenal target in the passing game who has great hands and excellent abilities to gain yards after the catch. His skills as a route runner help to make him a serious threat to defensive secondaries. Mills-Younger was a standout player during his sophomore season which is why his junior season is a must-watch.

His skill set as a receiver is extremely impressive. He is an excellent route runner with solid hands, great speed, and dominant yards-after-catch skills. Grady Forsythe Grady Forsythe 6'4" | 215 lbs | TE Conifer | 2024 State CO | Conifer | 6’4”, 205lbs
Forsythe is another TE who is an exceptional receiver and ball carrier. He has the size and skill to high point catches in traffic and come down with 50/50 balls. His strength and size give him the ability to seal off edges and lead up the field as a run blocker. Forsythe is a grinder on the line and as a receiver, keep an eye out for him this fall.
C/O 2024 TE/DE @GradyForsythe. 2 year letterman for us and has already started to have a huge off season. Special young man. (DE clips to come) https://t.co/od8pcQWs3S

Spencer Houle Spencer Houle 6'3" | TE Columbine | 2024 State CO | Columbine | 6’3”, 185lbs
Houle is another receiving TE with phenomenal upside. He has great speed, good route-running skills, and reliable hands as a receiving target. He is perhaps the most under-the-radar type of player on this list because of having to wait for his time to shine, but he has been extremely impressive this offseason. Houle has proven to be a reliable receiver who is consistently elevating his skills by competing for the Ducks 7-on-7 team.
