Adam Cannon | 2025 | 6’4 274 | OL | Hebron Christian
As a freshman, Cannon is one of the more physically impressive linemen you will see in Georgia. He already has an extremely large frame, but he is still growing into that frame. That means he has the potential to be even more dominant than he is now. Cannon is a little raw, which is expected out of a young player at his size. Regardless, he is an extremely physical player. He plays in a run-based offense, which means he is more than capable of getting downfield to block quicker defenders and be physical up front. He packs a pretty strong punch with his upper body, which often results in pancakes. Is very much a mauler-style blocker, but once he grows into his frame and adds some more quickness, he has a chance to be a very well-rounded tackle. Keep an eye out for Cannon, young players at his size don’t go unnoticed for long.
Javin Gordon | 2025 | 5’9 185 | ATH | Stephens County
Gordon is a versatile and dangerous performer that lined up mostly at QB and RB as a freshman. He was used almost strictly as a runner, where he ran for around 500 yards on the season. Gordon is not the fastest RB, but his short bursts of explosiveness allow him to change directions with ease and shake off any would-be tacklers. In space, he is an extremely physical runner who is not afraid of contact. Will run through you just as easily as he will run around you. He also has excellent vision in the backfield and is patient enough to let his blocks develop. Gordon is also extremely impressive when it comes to his build. He has a lower center of gravity and doesn’t carry any bad weight. His impressive build paired with his explosiveness allows him to fall forward at the point of contact and stay upright. Gordon had an extremely impressive freshman season and is someone you should watch over the next few seasons. After watching his film. Gordon should be a new addition to the 2025 GA RBs watch list.
Kaleb Harris | 2023 | 5’11 165 | ATH | East Coweta
Harris is a big-time athlete that makes plays on offense, defense, and even on special teams. While he is versatile and lines up all over the field, it looks as if his future long-term is at DB. On defense, he is a very instinctual player that reads the QB well and is always in the right place at the right time. Is physical enough to play press corner, but is better when he backs off and breaks on the ball. Has excellent ball skills which allow him to get physical without making penalties, those ball skills also translate to the offensive side of the ball, where he plays WR. With the ball in his hands, Harris is a very dangerous player that can make defenders miss in space. For that reason, he has the ability to get the ball in space on offense and be useful as a returner.
AJ Eason | 2023 | 5’11 186 | LB | Statesboro
Eason might be undersized for an LB, but he is an extremely physical player that clearly plays with a chip on his shoulder. He comes downhill extremely fast and can make some big hits on the ball carrier. More importantly, he is a high-effort player that plays through the whistle. His ability to run sidelines to sidelines is something that we are starting to see more in football in recent years. His speed paired with his physicality makes him a problem in the passing and running game. Eason’s future might be at nickel or SS due to his size, but he is more than capable of playing at those spots. He has the physicality to play close to the line of scrimmage and has the speed and quickness to match up well on receivers in coverage. Eason is an underrated playmaker that has a lot to like when you turn on the film.
Deliyon Freeman | 2023 | 5’11 165 | CB | East Coweta
Freeman is the second player from East Coweta on this list, and he happens to be another defensive back. When turning on the tape, the first thing you notice is his long arms. Those long arms allow him to play well in press coverage and be disruptive when it comes to breaking up passes. He is also extremely fast and explosive which allows him to run with anyone and break on balls to make plays in zone coverage. Freeman possesses an extremely fast and controlled backpedal on film, and can quickly change his direction to close the gap quickly. Was a highly productive player who came away with several INTs last season, so he has a knack for getting to the ball and making plays on the ball. Freeman looks to be a very underrated player who would be an excellent pickup for anyone in need of a DB.
