The Offensive Linemen are the heart and soul of any offensive unit. These guys are usually some of the fastest recruited, and typically some of the first taken in the NFL Draft. Here are the Top 2023 Offensive Lineman in the state of Virginia.

Birchmeier is not only the number 1 Offensive Lineman in the Class of 2023, he is the top ranked overall prospect in the state. Already committed to Penn State, the state’s top prospect also puts in work on the wrestling mat. He is a 2 time Wrestling State Champion. Birchmeier anchored a line that led the way for the 2nd leading rusher in the state among the Class of 2024 athletes, [player_tooltip player_id="293578" first="Aslin" last="Shipe"], and Senior QB [player_tooltip player_id="126720" first="Brett" last="Griffis"] who together combined for over 2,000 yards on the ground.

One of the largest prospects in the state, McConnell is the 2nd ranked at his position and the 7th ranked overall prospect in the state. He has offers from over a dozen Division 1 programs like UNC, Rutgers, JMU, Duke, NC State, Coastal Carolina, Wake Forest, Louisville, West Virginia, Maryland, Ole Miss, Michigan State, V Tech, FSU, Arkansas, Nebraska, Liberty, Virginia, Pitt, Syrcasue, and Boston College.

Miller is the 3rd ranked Offensive Lineman and the number 9 ranked overall prospect in the state of Virginia. He is already committed to Penn State, but has several FBS offers. Miller is already off to a great spring, he was recently named as a Top Performer at the Rivals Camp in Charlotte, NC last weekend.

Donkoh is the 4th ranked O Lineman in the state and the 10th ranked prospect in the state. The guys from Happy Valley, PA have been busy within the state locking in 3 out of the top 4 Lineman, and Donkoh is another commit to add to an already loaded recruiting class from Virginia. However he also has offers from Liberty, West Virginia, Duke, and Virginia Tech. The Lightridge junior earned 2nd team All District and 2nd Team All Conference as an Offensive Lineman, and was equally dominant on the defensive side of the ball winning 1st Team Conference as a Defensive Lineman and Leesburg Defensive Players of the Year. Donkoh also shows leadership on and off the field, being named Team Captain and listed with a 3.8 GPA.

Surber is the 5th ranked Offensive Lineman and the 16th ranked player in the state. He was named 1st Team All State Offensive Lineman, and has a 4.0 GPA. Surber and his Offensive Line unit posed an offensive attack that led Patriot High to a 7-4 record and a State Playoff appearance. He currently has offers from Richmond, App State, Tennessee, James Madison, Virginia, Duke, West Virginia, Kentucky, Kent State, Maryland, Liberty, Old Dominion, Pitt, Princeton, UConn, South Carolina, and UNC Charlotte.
