Yesterday, we started the evaluation of some of the underrated offensive linemen in the Class of 2024. Today, that process continues with three more rising prospects in the trenches.

[player_tooltip player_id="189132" first="Jordan" last="King"] is a physical force who solidifes the left side of the North Side offensive line. King has terrific size and frame. He exhibits plenty of power and always finishes the block. King frequently leaves the defender on the ground. He does a good job getting right of the ball. Look for [player_tooltip player_id="189132" first="Jordan" last="King"] to continue to dominate opposing defensive lines as a junior.
[player_tooltip player_id="217889" first="Ransom" last="McDermott"], 6’7, 225 pounds, Noblesville
[player_tooltip player_id="217889" first="Ransom" last="McDermott"] serves as a blocking tight and extra offensive lineman, and he plays that role remarkably well. McDermott has great length, allowing him to initiate contact and control the opponent. When blocking for the run, McDermott’s first step is good. In the running-game, he does a good job of pinning the edge defender inside and sealing the edge. McDermott is very helpful in pass protection as well. He does a good job chipping defensive ends, taking pressure off the tackle. On the other side of the ball, McDermott can line up at defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id="189134" first="Joneil" last="Perez"] gives teams the benefit of being able to play both guard and tackle. Perez gets off the ball and gets right to work. His film showcases his ability to execute cut blocks. He can get defenders off-balance just enough to open up some running room. [player_tooltip player_id="189134" first="Joneil" last="Perez"] has a lot of up side. Look for big things from Perez next fall.
