There are so many great linebackers in the 2024 class. With 33 linebackers in our last rankings update, this is a big group with tons of talent. With that, I've been preparing for our following rankings update set to release in April. As a part of my research, I see which guys have been active on social media when it comes to offseason work. In addition, I would LOVE to see these guys at our Prospect Showcase on April 16! I go over four linebackers who have had great offseasons for this article!

Twitter is swamped with Wazczenko's performance during 7 on 7 season, receiving much praise from publications such as The D Zone. I'm very impressed by his eyes and footwork during 1 on 1's, and he's earned a bump in the rankings for sure. I would love to see Waszczenko at our prospect showcase!

[player_tooltip player_id="251469" first="Damon" last="Powers"] - John Glenn - 6'0" 205
When the 2021 season concluded, Powers created a Twitter and started posting some of his workouts. These workouts include weights and tough-looking hill sprints (something I don't miss from Track). It makes me optimistic about his development, and I hope he's continuing to put in the extra work to blossom into a star.
[player_tooltip player_id="251376" first="Hassan" last="Sareini"] - Dearborn - 5'11" 190
Touted as one of the best lifters in the Dearborn program, [player_tooltip player_id="251376" first="Hassan" last="Sareini"] has impressed me this offseason. He's placed 7th in team bench press (264) and 3rd in back squat (433). In addition, it was nice to see Sareini and other teammates at their local elementary school reading to the kids during March.
[player_tooltip player_id="253311" first="Robert" last="Dedrick"] - Union - 5'10" 210
Dedrick is an honest hard worker playing for a high-rising program. I love his work ethic and size, and he'll be tested against some of the best teams in West Michigan; then, hopefully, he'll receive some playoff experience. Dedrick is consistently in the weight room working his tail off, and he was one of the most impressive athletes from Union last season.
