We checked out our top 5 offensive linemen in our 2023 Rankings, and these guys are just going to keep winning in the trenches!
[player_tooltip player_id="128277" first="Vysen" last="Lang"]-|6’4 335| |Pike Road|
[player_tooltip player_id="128277" first="Vysen" last="Lang"] was a massive piece (both figuratively and literally) of Pike Road’s dominant offense that took them to a 5A State Championship title last fall. Lang is huge, has great power, and is unstoppable when run blocking- a large reason as to why Pike Road was able to run the ball for an average of 310 yards a game. When passing the ball, Lang won in the trenches, a lot: he didn’t allow a single sack on quarterback Iverson Hooks throughout the entire regular and postseason, a ridiculous feat that is rarely ever seen from a player. Overall, Lang is a force to be reckoned with for defensive linemen across the state, and his senior season will surely present that this fall. Currently, Lang lists offers from all over the nation, with Auburn, Florida, Penn State, and other top programs offering him an opportunity to play at the next level.
[player_tooltip player_id="128276" first="Bradyn" last="Joiner"]-|6’3 300| |Auburn|
[player_tooltip player_id="128276" first="Bradyn" last="Joiner"] has consistently been a key member of Auburn’s offensive line over the course of his career, and it’s allowed him to become the national prospect he is. Joiner is a massive interior lineman that has used his versatility to line up at center and guard and is just as productive at both positions. Joiner has an incredible amount of strength and agility he uses when paving the way for the run and containing pass rush. Joiner flat-out dominates in the trenches, so much so he even found playing time on the opposite side of the ball last fall, wreaking havoc on Auburn’s defensive line. Although receiving offers from nearly everyone in the nation, Joiner elected to take his commitment to his hometown Auburn Tigers!
[player_tooltip player_id="128280" first="Ryqueze" last="McElderry"]-|6’3 340| |Anniston|

[player_tooltip player_id="128280" first="Ryqueze" last="McElderry"] is another versatile offensive lineman that has taken snaps at both tackle and guard, and he’s a guy you do not want to have to go up against. McElderry is huge, strong, ruthless, and plays with a mean streak that is an absolute blast to watch. He’s 100% committed to making look defenders look silly as he continually pancakes and drives defenders against their will game after game. McElderry excels in his adaptability, when pass-rushers try to mix up moves, he’s always an anchor on the line, never allowing anyone into the backfield. McElderry is ridiculously good and had received attention from nearly every corner of the nation, but ultimately decided to take his commitment to Georgia, a huge addition for the reigning national champ’s 2023 class.
[player_tooltip player_id="128279" first="Koby" last="Keenum"]-|6’4 285| |Mars Hill Bible|
[player_tooltip player_id="128279" first="Koby" last="Keenum"] is a super agile tackle that has been super consistent over his career at Mars Hill Bible. Keenum’s strengths are his strength, motor, and speed. Keenum excels at run blocking, he lays out some truly devastating blocks on defenders due to his ability to quickly get off of the ball and into the second level. When pass blocking, Keenum is able to use that same quickness with his footwork, allowing him to keep up with pass rushers to never really get beaten off of the edge. Over the course of his career, Keenum has become a national recruit, having received offers from Arkansas, Michigan, Ole Miss, and more! Keep an eye on him as he prepares for his senior season this fall!
[player_tooltip player_id="234684" first="Wilkin" last="Formby"]-|6’7 300| |Northridge|
[player_tooltip player_id="234684" first="Wilkin" last="Formby"] is, quite literally, a massive obstacle for defensive linemen to overcome. Standing at 6’7 300, Formby and Northridge have a special kind of prospect in the trenches. Formby is immovable but has a rare amount of flexibility to pair with that. Formby has the ability to bend and evenly distribute his size, making it nearly impossible for any kind of defensive linemen or linebacker to create any kind of pressure. Over the last year, Formby has exploded on the recruiting trail, picking up offers from some big-time programs like Alabama, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and more! Northridge seems to consistently have great offensive line play every year, but this year should be extra intimidating for other teams in the 6A with Formby on the field!
