As we- finally- begin to move into spring, the anticipation for the 2022 season continues to mount. Over the next few days, we are going to look at some of the players in the Class of 2023 who are getting ready for huge senior seasons. We start with a look at some of the players on offense who are getting set to make their push up the rankings.

Right-handed quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="185517" first="Kaiden" last="Underwood"] shows plenty of promise heading into his senior season. He does well making plays that can help keep the offense remain on schedule. Underwood uses his legs well to aid the running-game and keep defenses honest. Last year, Underwood was 45/100 through the air for a tick under 3,400 yards with three touchdowns and nine interceptions. He added one rushing touchdown in his junior season. Underwood handles the punting duties for Crawfordsville. Last year he punted a dozen times, netting 320 yards in the process. Crucially, he dropped three punts inside the 20.

[player_tooltip player_id="195405" first="Chris" last="Graham"] is a jack-of-all-trades prospect who finds several different ways to contribute to the team’s success. Graham has outstanding speed, something that is an asset on both offense and special teams, as he can blow right past defenders. Graham is excellent on the perimeter. He can use his speed to get past the defender or make a move to leave them in the dust. Graham can escape tackles and pick up extra yards. He can also line up at wildcat quarterback and make a play from that role. If he is not creating big plays, Graham can dash the opponent’s hopes of creating one at safety. [player_tooltip player_id="195405" first="Chris" last="Graham"] is a prospect to watch next season.
[player_tooltip player_id="300628" first="Rhett" last="Martin"], 6’2, 200 pounds, Running Back, South Decatur
[player_tooltip player_id="300628" first="Rhett" last="Martin"] contributes on both sides of the ball for South Decatur, playing running back, defensive end and outside linebacker. Martin can make plays as a ball-carrier and split out wide. He has solid blocking skills, opening up opportunities for the rest of the offense. Last season, Martin carried 35 times for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He hauled-in 12 catches for 138 yards and two more touchdowns. Defensively, Martin was all over the field. He recorded 73 total tackles with four-and-a-half tackles-for-loss. Martin added one sack, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
