Ernest Flythe- Belleview High c/o 23
6’1 170lbs
Flythe was one of the most dynamic players in the district. He was 1st Team All-County and led Belleview to a 8-3 record and into the state playoffs. He was the district leader in passing yards throwing for 2177 yards, completed an outstanding 64% of his passes and threw 25 touchdown passes. He was also rushed for 655 yards, averaged 12 yards per carry and 6 touchdowns. A true dual-threat quarterback that can beat you with his legs or his arm, shows very good escapability and keeps his eyes downfield to deliver big plays, good athlete when he breaks contain has the speed (4.47 40) to take it to the house. Big time player that’s also a very good student with a 3.3 GPA.

Fred Gaskin- Vanguard High c/o 24
5’11 174lbs
Gascon stepped in for Powerhouse Ocala Vanguard in 2021 and didn’t disappoint. He can play on both sides of the ball and led Vanguard to an 11-1 record. He was second in the district this season passing for 1037 yards, completed 64% of his passes and threw 14 touchdowns. He rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Contributed on the defensive side of the ball with seven tackles and two passes defensed. Big-time athlete that will probably convert to the defensive side of the ball at next level because of his burst, closing speed (4.66) and coverage ability. Can stick his foot in the ground and drive on the football and shows natural instincts in coverage. Highly rated four-star recruit that has eight offers including offers from Coastal Carolina, Miami, and Florida to name a few.

Shawntez Simmons- Lecanto High c/o 23
5’9 160lbs
Simmons was a first-year starter for Lecanto and showed some ability passing for 626 yards and 35 touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown. He’s not the biggest quarterback, but he does show pretty good arm strength and ability to throw on the run with accuracy and ball placement, shows the ability to run the zone-read and be effective as a runner. I expect him to make a big jump in production next season.
