Rankings Breakdown: 2023 Virginia RBs

Recently, the 2023 Rankings were updated for the state of Virginia. The Free Lance All Area Player of the Year accounted for 1,560 total yards (1,029 rushing and 531 receiving yards) and 18 touchdowns. He led Mountain View to a 11-2 record this past season and has earned offer from Old Dominion, James Madison, Tennessee, UCONN, Wake Forest, Coastal Carolina, West Virginia, Arizona State. &nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id="290135" first="Isaiah" last="Ragland"] 5’9’’ 195 lbs Centreville High School Position Rank: 2  Overall Rank: 14 (See New Additions to Watch) Ragland joins the list as the number 14 overall prospect and the number 2 running back. He led the state in rushing as he amounted for 2,613 yards. He earned 1st Team All State and All Met honors. He currently holds an offer from UMass. &nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id="178497" first="Jeremiah" last="Coney"] 6’ 190 lbs Hermitage High School Position Rank: 3  Overall Rank: 23 (See Stock Risers) Coney had an amazing season this past fall and jumped 18 slots from number 41 to number 23 overall, and to the third Running Back within the state of Virginia. Coney ran for 1,050 yards rushing, 19 touchdowns, had 12 receptions for 205 yards and 2 receiving touchdowns. He also finished with 12 tackles and 3 sacks on the defensive side of the ball. He was named 1st Team All State, 1st Team All Region, and All Metro as a running back. He earned defensive honors as well named 2nd Team All-Purpose on that side of the ball. He holds approximately 10 offers from schools such as Norfolk State, Buffalo, Old Dominion, Boston College, Temple, Marshall, James Madison, Kent State, University of Virginia, and University of Maryland. &nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id="127900" first="Charles" last="Fisher"] 5’9’’ 200 lbs Lake Taylor High School Position Rank: 4  Overall Rank: 31 Fisher helped lead Lake Taylor to a State Championship run. He ran for 1,196 yards, 16 touchdowns, and averaged almost 6 yards per carry.
