Cole Cabana Cole Cabana 6'0" | 185 lbs | RB Dexter | 2023 State MI | Dexter | 2023 | Hudl
Cabana has legit breakaway speed and has the capability to leave defenders in the dust. He is a nightmare for defensive players to tackle in the open field with his elusiveness. He was very productive in 2021, totaling 2,187 all purpose yards to go along with 28 total touchdowns. I like that Cabana makes quick efficient cuts and does not have any wasted movement. He is good at identifying where the hole is an then accelerating through. Cabana has good power and shows the ability to drag defenders with him. Cole Cabana Cole Cabana 6'0" | 185 lbs | RB Dexter | 2023 State MI has recently made is college commitment public on Twitter, and has committed to the University of Michigan (Twitter).
Quinn Stephens Quinn Stephens 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Lincoln | 2024 MI | Ypsilanti Lincoln | 2024
Quinn Stephens Quinn Stephens 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB Lincoln | 2024 MI has good size at 6-0 206 lbs. He was part of a very talented group of backs that Ypsilanti Lincoln featured this past season. On the year, Stephens rushed for 323 yards & 2 touchdowns. Averaging just shy of 7 yards per carry. Next year Stephens should get a bigger work load and should be primed for a breakout Junior season.
De’Veion Mclilley | Ann Arbor Huron | 2023 | Hudl
Mclilley does a great job of always falling forward and gaining extra yards when he carries the football. He has good size at 6-0 200 lbs. Mclilley is very tough an plays with a lot of passion. Mclilley has good hands and is good at catching passes out of the back field. He plays linebacker on defense as well and is always around the football. I expect Huron to have another great season and for Mclilley to shine on both sides of the ball.
Nate Walper | Saline | 2025 | Hudl
Walper played primarily on Saline’s JV last season as a Freshman although he also played on Saline’s Varsity roster. Walper has tremendous speed and showed ability to break multiple 70 plus yard runs. He has good vision and does a great job of letting his blocks get setup and then cutting to the opening. Walper has good upper body strength and is can break tackles with ease. Walper will have a chance to get a larger work load on the Varsity next season.
Tyler Craig | Ann Arbor Pioneer | 2024 | Hudl
Like Walper, Tyler Craig played JV & Varsity last season. He is a tremendous blocker who is not afraid to get out and lead block to open holes for his teammates. Craig is never shy about lowering his shoulder and running over a defender. Craig has good hands and can create big plays on running back screens. Craig is very elusive and can make defenders miss easily. Craig plays cornerback on the defensive side and does a great job staying stride for stride with wide receivers. Craig will have a good shot at becoming Pioneers starting running back on Varsity next season.
