With the recruiting process beginning to wrap up for the class of 2022, the class of 2023 and 2024 are beginning to take center stage. Today we are going to take a look at some linebackers that will be making an appearance on the update Prep RedZone 2024 rankings over the next few months.
Dewayne Beasley Dewayne Beasley 5'11" | 205 lbs | LB Little Rock Catholic | 2024 State AR -Little Rock Catholic-5’11” 205-Pounds
Beasley is a versatile player for the Rockets that can play several positions with equal effectiveness. The Little Rock Catholic Rocket does an impressive job of reading the play and defeating the block. Beasley does a good job of wrapping up the ball carrier and making the tackle. He does a terrific job of being able to drop back into coverage and disrupt the opposing passing game. Beasley is a prospect that coaches are going to want to pay attention to over the next couple of seasons he is a talented player with a high ceiling.
Cameron Arellano Cameron Arellano 5'7" | 180 lbs | LB Shiloh Christian | 2024 State AR -Shiloh Christian-5’7” 180-Pounds
Arellano is another prospect in the class of 2024 that is an extremely versatile player. He has the talent to play on both sides of the ball. Arellano does a great job of pursuing the ball carrier and not giving up on the play. Shiloh Christian always does a terrific job of producing quality linebackers and the 2024 class is going to be a good one for the Saints. The versatility that Arellano will give the Saints coaching staff plenty of options of where to put him from a playing perspective.
Noah Janski Noah Janski 5'11" | 175 lbs | LB Fayetteville | 2024 State AR -Fayetteville-5’11” 175-Pounds
Janski uses his speed well to get into the opposing offense. He does a great job of disrupting the oppositions rushing attack. Janski is impressive at fending off blocks and getting to the ball carrier. He is one of those linebackers that does not have a problem dropping back into pass coverage and disrupting the passing game. The potential that Janski has is impressive and the 7-A West is going to have to account for him over the next two seasons. Look for Janski to start catching scout’s eyes over the next few months, the young man sets a high bar for himself.
Brian Huff Brian Huff 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Valley View | 2024 State AR -Valley View-6’3” 210-Pounds
Huff has already caught the attention of the University of Arkansas coaching staff. The Valley View linebacker is all over the field and always around the ball carrier. Huff is extremely impressive in getting into the offensive backfield and just causing havoc. He has no problem dropping back into coverage and picking off passes. The Valley View prospect is a prospect that will play on Saturdays and his versatility is going to allow coaches to get creative with where they align him. Huff is going to be a player you here plenty about over the next few months.
Isaac Chapman Isaac Chapman 6'0" | 190 lbs | LB Rogers | 2024 State AR -Rogers-6’0” 190-Pounds
The Rogers Mounties have an impressive prospect in the form of Isaac Chapman Isaac Chapman 6'0" | 190 lbs | LB Rogers | 2024 State AR . Chapman’s ability to read the play and make a play on the ball in pass coverage is terrific. He has good quickness and uses it well to defeat blocks and get to the ball carrier. The versatility that Chapman possess allows him to play effectively on both sides of the ball. Chapman has flown under the radar up until now, however, I do not see him continuing to fly under the radar. Chapman has the potential to make some noise this coming season.
