There are four quarterbacks in the Top 50 and six quarterbacks overall for the Class of 2025 in Missouri in the Prep Redzone database, which continues to grow every day.
Today we are taking a closer look at the top quarterbacks. (Click on the player names to check out their prospect pages on PRZ, including links to their HUDL highlights.)
1. Kameron Eleby Kameron Eleby 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Pattonville | 2025 State MO , Pattonville
Eleby, a 6-foot-1, 190-pounder, is the No. 8 overall prospect in Missouri in our initial Class of 2025 rankings and is the rare freshman who started at quarterback on the varsity level.
He completed 40.6 percent of passes for 832 yards, with five touchdowns and four interceptions. He also rushed for 204 yards and six scores.
Elegy’s older brother, Kaleb, was a standout quarterback at Pattonville, went on to have a successful career at Western Michigan and is now a pro prospect to watch going into the 2022 NFL Draft.
2. Dillon Duff Dillon Duff 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB De Smet | 2025 State MO , De Smet
Duff, a 6-3, 175-pounder, is already proving himself at the varsity level for De Smet’s basketball team. He is averaging six points per game and is second on the Spartans in 3-pointers made, only behind his older brother, Justin, a junior.
The younger Duff saw some varsity action on the football field as a freshman as the backup behind starter Chris Cotton Chris Cotton 5'11" | 190 lbs | QB De Smet | 2023 State MO . He completed three of eight pass attempts (the second most on the team) for 22 yards.
Cotton is a junior and one of the state’s better quarterbacks, so we might not see much of Duff at the position until the 2023 season when he is a junior. But he’s a prospect to keep an eye on as he has good size, a strong arm and is a competitor.
3. Jason Wiley Jason Wiley 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB CBC | 2025 IL , CBC
Wiley, a 6-1, 170-pounder, was teammates with Duff at De Smet during his freshman season but has since announced he has transferred to Metro Catholic Conference rival CBC.
He was credited with throwing just one pass on the varsity level as a freshman, but it was completed for a touchdown. (The incomplete stats for this game don’t list the yardage for the pass.)
Now at CBC, Wiley will join a quarterback group that includes promising 2024 quarterback Cole McKey Cole McKey 5'10" | 180 lbs | QB CBC | 2024 State MO . The Cadets will have a new starter at the position in 2022 after the graduation of Patrick Heitert Patrick Heitert 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB CBC | 2022 State MO , who signed with Southeast Missouri State after leading CBC to the Missouri Class 6 championship as a senior.
4. Dakarri Hollis Dakarri Hollis 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Lutheran North | 2025 State MO , Lutheran North
Hollis, a 6-1, 175-pounder, saw some varsity action this past season and will go into his sophomore season with an opportunity to earn the starting spot after the graduation of three-year starter Brian Brown Brian Brown 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Lutheran North | 2022 State MO .
Hollis completed five of eight passes for 43 yards and one interception on the varsity level this past season. He also ran four times for 20 yards.
