The new 2023 class rankings have just arrived. There are many shake-ups and many new faces who have made the list. Here are some new and fresh faces that you should have your eyes on for the upcoming football season. [player_tooltip player_id="198110" first="Tyler" last="Douglas"], QB, Ocean This is an athlete who has the most impressive tape of the quarterbacks in this class. He has insane throws and displays uncanny arm talent. Making accurate throws, on the run, down the sideline between two defenders is the type of throws that consistently show up on his tape.

[player_tooltip player_id="198110" first="Tyler" last="Douglas"] finds Craig Flannigan as time expires in the 1Q for the 38-yard touchdown pass.
Ocean’s 2-point conversion fails. The Spartans trail the Dragons 8-6 at the end of the first. pic.twitter.com/J97ljWjXB3 — Larissa Forese (@larissaforese) October 1, 2021
He separates himself by being an explosive athlete at the position. Able to make plays outside of structure and even able to run in it in himself. [player_tooltip player_id="198110" first="Tyler" last="Douglas"] is one quarterback who will have the attention of many division one scouts by the time his senior year is over. [player_tooltip player_id="215740" first="Angelo" last="Rodriguez"], RB, Highland One of the most explosive players in the class. Rodriguez has that home-run speed, that is rare to find at the running back position. Along with his speed, his versatility is what makes him stand out.

2022 🔋 @tartanfootball1 @Colbert_Jared @UriahMcClain8 @Giants5john @c__leary @AntAlford34 @bwilliams7355 @DominicMasselli @mar_1x21 @upnxtjefe8 @MattTuttle26 @D1bAsa @3szn__ 🏆 one goal Let’s go ! pic.twitter.com/VxpnQqrVIR
— [player_tooltip player_id="215740" first="Angelo" last="Rodriguez"] (@lowstro24) January 1, 2022
He shows that ability to not only take it to the house with his speed be he shows uncanny contact balance. Consistently gets many yards after contact and forces many missed tackles. Rodriguez is a big play waiting to happen and we’re excited to see what he does next, in his senior year.

RESPECT IS EARNED NOT GIVEN 👷🏾‍♂️💯‼️@tartanfootball1 @Giants5john @Colbert_Jared @dom_staiano @Tartans_FB pic.twitter.com/CvUmAcDqi6
— [player_tooltip player_id="215740" first="Angelo" last="Rodriguez"] (@lowstro24) February 4, 2022
[player_tooltip player_id="181902" first="Hunter" last="Seubert"], OL, Watchunng Hills An aggressive offensive lineman, he moves like he was born to play the position. Son of super bowl champion Rich Seubert a former offensive lineman for the New York Giants. Hunter flashes all the traits you need to be solid at the position. He has great, hands, feet, and balance and is also an aggressive blocker, especially in the running game. [player_tooltip player_id="181902" first="Hunter" last="Seubert"] is only going to continue to get better and his future as an offensive line prospect is very encouraging. [player_tooltip player_id="289256" first="Aaron" last="Dorsey"], Edge, Timber Creek One of the most disruptive forces at the defensive line position. [player_tooltip player_id="289256" first="Aaron" last="Dorsey"] has all the tools to be a dominant edge rusher. At 6’2 165 his athleticism is undenible. For that reason alone, he makes our list; he’s still very raw at the position, but once he refines some of his technique and learns how to use his frame as a weapon. His ceiling as an edge rusher will be something to behold. [player_tooltip player_id="214414" first="Van" last="Weber"], QB, Rutherford The best quarterback from the pocket in this class. He has the most technicality and does the little things better than any quarterback. The one trait that he possesses that stands out above all. Is how deadly accurate he is with football. He has the best accuracy of any quarterback in this class and the windows he fits passes in are absurd. He offers almost no play out of structure or when the play breaks down, but he has the accuracy, timing, and pocket presence to get the job done.

[player_tooltip player_id="214414" first="Van" last="Weber"] and Alex DiMaulo connect for their second Rutherford touchdown.
14-0 Bulldogs with less than a minute to go in the first quarter. pic.twitter.com/EKIDp9afTW — Sean Farrell (@seanfarrell92) September 10, 2021
Vashon Level -Byers, Edge/LB, Hudson Catholic This prospect has freakishly long arms and is learning how to use his frame as a weapon. Showing solid upfield burst off the edge at 6’0 180. His future as he gets better will be a refreshing sight. Would love to see him add more weight to his frame and exhibit more consistent moves. We see the athleticism on tape but we need to see some of the technicality when it comes to hand usage and using moves consistently. When he adds this to his arsenal he will be a dangerous player off the edge that scout will be salivating to try and recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id="289332" first="Vashon" last="Level-Byers"]/ @levelbyers @HudsonCatholic Junior Season Highlightshttps://t.co/peHHpjNx7P
— Hector Santiago (@santiagohec) November 26, 2021
